Bernie Sanders, climate champion and anti-oligarch, has a private jet addiction. On Wednesday, Fox reported, “Bernie Sanders spent over $550K in 2025 campaign funds on private jets, filings show.” You didn’t expect socialists to take Spirit, did you?
According to Fox, FEC filings show Bernie Sanders spent $550,000 on private jets in 2025 alone, mostly during his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour with AOC. He prefers Bombardier Challengers ($15K/hour) while preaching about climate change and income inequality.
To be fair, it’s hard to fight oligarchy from a middle seat in coach, wedged between a crying baby and a guy cracking open a can of tuna. You really need that Bombardier Challenger cabin width if you want to properly denounce capitalism. Bernie explained his jet habit to Bret Baier: “You think I’m gonna be sitting on a waiting line at United while 30,000 people are waiting?” This is technically true. United’s legroom is incompatible with righteous indignation about the working class.
Putting Bernie’s explanation another way, the Bombardier Bolshevik spent half a million on private jets while calling climate change an ‘existential threat’ because, apparently, the real existential threat was to his connecting flight. Coach for thee, Challenger for me.
Democrats are evolving. At a union rally in 2023, Bernie bro AOC asked members, “For real, how many private jets do these CEOs need? It is insatiable!” Politico, July ’23:
So … two years later, how many private jets does insatiable Bernie Sanders need? A lot, apparently. This isn’t your grandpa’s socialism. “Workers of the world, unite! I’ll be overhead at 40,000 feet.” I wish him luck. Go ahead, seize the means of transportation, but preferably with a wide cabin and leather seats.
The revolution will not be televised— but it will have beverage service.

Speaking of the working class, which Bernie supposedly went to bat for by supporting strong borders a few years back, look how he’s flipped flopped. I guess he realized open borders and putting the illegals on benefits guarantees Democrats will win elections.
Now Bernie cares about Somali immigrants and fuck the American working class. Not true: He cares about neither. All he cares about is bringing about socialism (aka communism) in America.

There are two main groups of economic leftists. Well three, but the third is just stupid people who don’t actually know what it is, just vote for it because they’re brainwashed.
The two types of “true believers” are:
1. Power elite, or wannabes, who profess it for the masses to gain/keep power but have no intention of ever actually living under the egalitarian distribution themselves. They are the ones who will eat steak while the rest of us eat bugs. They are the ruling communist parties in every communist utopian experiment. They are soulless psychopaths.
2. The would be receivers of other people’s wealth, be it because they are poor due to circumstances, but feel this entitles them to other people’s money, or lazy, untalented parasites who justify their sense of entitlement with their hate and envy of those who earn and produce. They are the useful idiots, their numbers grown by propaganda against “evil private corporations” and “the rich” and deliberate destruction if the economy by group 1 to drive the middle class downward.
Actually group 2 also includes well off middle or even lower upper class who hate anyone even better off than themselves.
Leftism is always based on hatred, envy or disingenuous elitism. And also what Anthony said.

You left out a group. AWFUL specifies Affluent White Females, but I I know a lot of liberal males that fall into that category. They think they are being kind and doing the poor a favor by bestowing largess on them. But that "largess" usually comes from someone else, and is actually contributing to keeping those people poor while soothing their own guilt that they have been brainwashed into thinking they should feel.

You’re right, they are sufficiently different from group 1 and 2. Or maybe they are in the third group, which I mentioned first: The people who don’t really understand what economic leftism actually is. These women are ruled by misplaced emotion and superficial virtue signaling and that drives their politics. They have zero grasp of facts and the outcomes of wealth redistribution attempts.
