"What we learned from the police briefing on the Tumbler Ridge shootings
Deputy commissioner Dwayne McDonald confirmed that police have identified the suspect as 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar, who was a resident of Tumbler Ridge.
Police revised the death toll down to nine people, including the suspect, after a female victim with significant injuries survived (she remains in critical condition).
A 39-year-old found deceased at the suspect’s family residence was the mother of the suspect, and the 11-year-old victim was the suspect’s step-brother.
The deaths at the private residence occurred first before the suspect went to the high school.
Police were called to the home after they had been called to the school, by a female youth who is related to the suspect and victims.
Those killed at the school were a 39-year-old teacher, three 12-year-old female students and two male students aged 12 and 13. One victim was found in the stairwell, and the others were located in the school’s library.
Two firearms were recovered at the scene – a long gun and a modified handgun. Police are still working to determine their origins and role in the incident.
The suspect had a firearms license that had expired in 2024 and did not currently have any firearms registered to her.
The suspect had dropped out of Tumbler Ridge secondary school about four years ago and was not currently a student there.
There is no information at this point to suggest that any of the victims in the school were specifically targeted.
Police had attended the suspect’s family residence on multiple occasions over the past several years, dealing with mental health concerns of the suspect.
This included one police attendance to the home approximately two years ago where firearms were seized under the criminal code. The lawful owner of those firearms petitioned for them to be returned, and they were.
The suspect was born as a biological male who had started transitioning about six years ago and identified in public and on social media as female.
The suspect is believed to have acted alone.
Police don’t yet have an idea as to what the suspect’s motive was."

These people are a unique set of psychopaths that never existed before to my knowledge, not this “trans” version. Yes, created by today’s insane woke version of communism, and distilled into one of the most hateful cults ever.
They aren’t actually trans. These are uniquely fucked up individuals with no internal identity at all, not even knowing which biological sex they are. They act on an external locus of control, meaning any sense of self worth comes from others (since they are themselves but an empty shell) hence the demand everyone use the right pronouns or it is literal genocide: To them it is; they evaporate without constant external validation. This is also known as “narcissistic supply”.
When this false, cardboard, externally located identity inevitably collapses, they react with rage and go kill a bunch of innocents.
Actual real trans do have a sense of internal identity. They identify as the opposite sex. And they attempt to make their physical body align with it, but they understand that it is their own problem, not everybody else’s, to prop up their inner identity. And they are very rare.
These trantifa monsters aren’t actual trans. The males are crossdresser fetishists and AGPs, and the females are victims of mass psychogenic hysteria, a well documented phenomena among young, mentally unstable females. It is chromosomally false and they know it. But it is psychologically true to them and it is internal. It is their internally embraced identity regardless of the biological unreality. It causes them great discomfort so yes they need help. They need a lot of psychological therapy to come to the proper decisions about what, if anything, to do about it.
No it is not appropriate to “support the delusion”. No therapist should be doing this and it is criminal that they are. A therapist’s role is not to tell you who you are or are not. It is to provide a safe environment and tools in which you can figure it out for yourself. The psychological professions have been corrupted by political correctness and progressivism that’s infected the universities almost to the tune of 100% in the liberal arts. Psychology is a pseudo science. It has been taken over by leftist women.
That’s what brought us to the point therapists must “affirm” the delusions of children, or have their careers destroyed.

I am TERRIFIED for my grandchildren. If I had kids now, I'd homeschool them and live out in the sticks, and never let them online. But that wouldn't save them either because they'd be unable to function in modern society. They need to know how to navigate the internet. I just have to hope my Grandkids are amongst the still-majority that don't get caught up in the trans bullshit.
On the bright side, society seems to be catching on and there is backlash now. Lawsuits against surgeons doing transitioning on underage kids is starting to cause trans clinics to close, or at least limit treatment to adults. And we can now speak out against it, thanks to Elon buying Twitter and Trump being elected, which seems to have got the message out that the majority in the U.S. are NOT these crazy far left woke lunatics, and we are no longer going to self-censor out of fear of them. The "normals" seem to have become visible again in our culture.
There is also a growing pushback from the legit gay/trans community who rightly despise the lunatic violent trans and the ones who want to take over women's sports and push into women's bathrooms and have drag story hour for little kids. Legit gay/trans are enraged at the lunatic woke LGBTQRSTUVXYZPEEPEEPOOPOO crazies because it's causing backlash against them. All they want is to be accepted as people, individuals, not IDPOL identities.
It's just like normal black people who just want to function in society yet are stereotyped by the criminal element which factually has a horrifically high crime rate compared to other races. It reflects badly on them and causes racist backlash against all blacks. Likewise now there is growing anti-gay backlash due to these insane LGBTQ ETC. activists.
It is all calculated and deliberate by the commie left. Push and enable violence by promoting the "trans" ideology in the one case, and by welfare taking fathers out of the home in the other case, so to in both cases end up with violent psycho criminals and dividing society into factions that hate and prey upon each other.

Yes, they often have co-morbidities such as severe depression. But it is very rare for that type to be school shooters. Usually they just kill themselves.
