Title: Stupid Democrats. Stupid Newsom.
Post by: elwood blues on February 17, 2026, 05:24:41 PM: I was paying $2.25/gal a month ago. Now it's up to $2.96/gal from that slimy greasy-hair moron screwing up the supply of gas. The entire west is feeling the effect of his stupidity.

Nevada, a chunk of Arizona, and a chunk of Oregon gets their gas from California. Idaho gets their gas from Utah and in the north, from Washington and Montana. Utah is now sending gas to Nevada and Washington is sending more to Oregon which means gas is now higher across the entire west because of Newsom.

The feds have taken control of the Colorado River at the Glen Canyon Dam because the seven states of the Colorado River Pact can't come up with an agreement because of stupid California.

I say cut them off of all fuel and water and let them die!

You guys are making me feel stupid. But I'll ask anyway. What are you paying these prices for? Avgas? Sounds like a bargain to me.

Regular car gas. Been a long time I could fill my truck for less than $70.

He increased regulations (by calling special legislative sessions) on oil refineries on top of already having the nation's toughest fuel and emissions standards, and CA long term plans to go all renewable, all EV, plus some economic and infrastructure factors, is leading to refinery closures --> rising prices and projected shortages of gas, diesel, etc. on the ~~west~~ left coast.

$2.40-2.50most stations here. Walmart usually 5-10 cents cheaper.
