well, not every newpaper is in the bag for the corrupt doormat. The Boston Herald can hardly be called a liberal rag.
The Boston Herald frontpage picture of the corrupt doormat is quite unflattering, even for her. I'm confident that Boston's DNC mouthpiece (the boston globe) will be gushing about the corrupt doormat with heavily photoshopped pictures.

It was going to happen. I wonder if anything changes if Sanders wins California? Now would be a great time for the FBI to recommend an indictment. Actually, anytime would be.

That fantasy will never come true. Nothing will happen to her prior to the elections. If she wins, nothing will happen to her ever. If she loses, she may get a stern warning, or hand slap after the election, but I doubt it.

We'll see. The way the FBI has been conducting this investigation, at least from what we know about it, leads me to believe that they will recommend charges against her. There is a lot of evidence to suggest that she did in fact violate the law. If she doesn't get indicted I think there may be a backlash from the FBI and the public. It would be great to see her step down from the race, before or after becoming the official nominee, and watching the Democrats scramble at the last minute. I don't see that happening though.

Obama will stifle any indictment. Or, he will pardon her in advance, making an indictment moot.
In return, Hillary will appoint him to the Supreme Court.

If there is even a chance that Hillary would appoint Obama to the SC, that alone should be enough to make one vote for Trump. The Presidential term is 4 years. SC is for life.

This.
Welcome, 28G!
I disagree with this though. Being a Supreme is not beg enough for Obama and his ego. I believe he wants to be UN Secretary General, and believe that he's the Ruler of the New World Order.

I've thought about this before as well. The U.N. Secretary General seems more suitable to him than being a SCOTUS justice. However being a SCOTUS justice would allow him to continue to "fundamentally transform" America even after he left office.

Given how much time Obama has spent overseas before his election, and during the past 7+ years, trashing and apologizing for the United States, it's in his blood to continue to do so, only with a louder megaphone.
Plus, if he joined the Supremes, we will once and for all see just what kind of "Constitutional Scholar" he really is. My guess is that he would like that to be buried.

How can he become the U.N. Secretary General?

I believe that they are appointed by the General Assembly. Obama has cozied up to and bowed before so many despots over the last 8 years that he's set the table for the politics of the nomination process. IMO.

I'm not sure the U.N. would accept an American as Secretary General, even if it was Obama.

I sort of agree. I think someone would remind them about his Nobel Prize, and his actions afterward.

would obama take a page from lizzy and claim he was actually Kenyan?
Maybe the UN would accept obama self-identifying as a non-american.
think of the possibilities...

Some customs have developed regarding the selection process, such as that the appointee may not be a citizen of any of the Security Council's five permanent members.
any of the five permanent members of the Council can veto (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_veto_power) a nomination

Well, as I said, it's IMO. I'm no UN expert.
On the other hand, if Obama can violate the US Constitution with Executive Orders, I think he's fully capable of violating a custom or two in the UN.

So you are of the belief that Russia would not veto that appointment?

So you are of the belief that Russia would not veto that appointment?
Why would they?
He's been happy to acquiesce in Russia's annexation of large part of the Ukraine, even though the US had promised Ukraine that we would defend them when they gave up their nukes.
Obama's been a great friend to Putin.
-
If Obama were the Secretary General, he'd probably have a lot of flexibility. ;)

I don't know, Eppy. Is it your mission to disavow me of my opinion today? That's why I called it an opinion and not a fact. I think you're making a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be.
That being said, do YOU know what kind of deal Obama made with Putin when he told Medvedev that he would have more "flexibility" after the election? I don't.
-
A slight correction - the doormat CLAIMS to have enough delegates. She is depending on pledged superdelegates who probably are for her but are not required to make a choice until the convention voting. If something goes off the rails, they still have the opportunity to change and vote for Bernie.

And it was just by chance that they announced this on the eve of the CA primary. Great way to get Bernie voters to stay home.

Not after you Stan, just presenting information and questions. 8)
