I might agree with you,
if he wasn't right. But it IS a witch hunt.
I do have some problems with Trump. I didn't like the way he insulted fellow Nato countries and refused to endorse the mutual defense provision. But I liked the rest of his speech.
But for the most part, the Democrats keep making up lies and spreading innuendo based on anonymous reports and demand investigations based on nothing other than the volume of their accusations.
Even Democrats agree that the main thing holding back economic growth is the need for tax reform, yet they do nothing to help. They impede Trump at every turn and prevent him from accomplishing anything while he has to react to their frivolous complaints. And those complaints wouldn't really be a problem either if it weren't for the media's obsession with all things anti-Trump, and encouraging the average citizen to think he is a moron.

I don't mind Trump tweeting, but sometimes I do think his TONE is somewhat immature, and un-statesman like. Not that the Democrats are any better. There is not a statesman in the lot. So Mueller is appointed special council. He is very good friends with Comey. Muller the begins appointing multitudes of lawyers many of whom are heavy Democrat sonars and one is a Hillary lawyer.

We now have four branches of government, executive, legislative, judicial and bureaucratic and the bureaucratic branch is doing everything in its power to take out Trump.

I do think he goes overboard with his tweeting, like I've said before. I don't have a problem with him tweeting, but at times it comes across as off message and undisciplined. I hardly think he's an embarrassment to the country, though.

That's about the size of it. The platform just makes it easy for anyone to say stupid stuff in my opinion. It gets posted before you have time to think it through and edit yourself. It's the nature of it to let you say things on the fly you might not in other forms of communication. On the other hand Trump doesn't seem to care much about censoring himself in any case. I think it's refreshing.
And the most important thing is he is able to completely bypass the biased media and speak directly to us. The benefit of that outweighs the negative IMO.

As I said earlier, I'm not a tweet person, and I don't want to do anything about that. But - when the prez sends a tweet, it's picked up instantly by the MSM and at least for now, they are repeating these tweets verbatim, but putting their spin around what it all means. I wonder how many people read the tweet, or read all the spin around it to figure out what was said. My guess is the latter is more important than the former, actual words from the prez. Which is sad on so many levels.

Scarborough has been going on rants about Trump on a regular basis. Perhaps Trump rebuffing them is the reason for his rants now. His tweets could easily be seen as an explanation for why Scarborough in on the war path. Sometimes you have to look at the big picture.

If you don't want to sound like an angry adolescent, you take the novel approach of not saying things that an angry adolescent would say. The issue is not the medium with which he is sending his message, it is the way in which he is sending it. Of course some people like the bold crassness of an angry adolescent. Well don't mistake my loving some of the policy decisions he makes for loving "him". I have a fundamental dislike of him. I voted against him in the primary. But I can't criticize the way he is defending himself against this horrific onslaught which is waaaaaaayyyy above and beyond any against any prior president in my lifetime. If it is part and parcel of the job in a divided nation then the nation is way more divided than ever before.

The mad brilliance of Trump's strategery with respect to the tweet's and such will only be realized by the Left sometime late in his 2nd term when they realize they could be looking at President Pence in 2024.

The problem is that those of us on the right have been called stupid for so long, so loudly, that some of us do lash out - I know I have on occasion, but we are not going to win people over by calling them stupid - evidence, every election over the last 4 years. The Democrats have suffered a stunning loss of power that is not effectively reported about - well over 1000 elective offices includig control of statehouses, governors mansions, etc. And I think it has been largely driven by their outright in your face disdain for the common American and their constant hyperbolic attacks on the Right.
Now the Republican are not at all above snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, as can be seen by their slow walk of Trump's signature agenda items - the grassroots are already lining up primary challengers to leaders in DC, including Speaker Ryan.
As for me, I went into this eyes wide open, knowing that Trump is a master showman and understanding that would mean things I would not like, just as with W not being the best speaker - the content of the agenda and successful accomplishment of the agenda are all that matters to me, feelings, PC culture and all that rot be damned.
But I also understand that some on the right, in the middle and even on the left will not be swayed so much by actual accomplishment as by what is being said about what was being said, and that is unfortunate - doesn't really matter though, they will come along with us to the shining city on the hill whether they want to or not, and they can thank us later.

Agree but even more than the politics at least in my feed is the inane pointless crap. Somebody did something then THIS happened.... or advertisments or "suggested for you" or my facebook friends posting what they had for lunch or the fact that they are stuck in traffic. I have to scroll through hundreds of ridiculous posts to find what I REALLY stay on facebook for and that is the odd fact that my nieces post. Like they are starting up hydrophonics. I'm interested in knowing that and Lord Knows my niece won't sit down and write me a paper letter about it.
We have a friend dying of cancer and his wife updates us through FB so I have to keep her feed open, but she constantly posts all the useless stuff too. It's so frustrating. I have "unfollowed" her before but now I'm afraid if I do I'll miss the funeral when he finally goes.
It's because certain people I care about use FB as their ONLY way to tell friends and family what's going on that I stay and that is the ONLY reason. I want to delete my account so bad I hate FB so much. And I really hate the idea of making Zuckerberg rich (er).

Yeah I participated in the politics before the election because I hoped I had a chance to influence people, and I may well have. But some that are not open to debate but just bashing each other, I didn't unfriend but I "unfollowed". But my niece and my brother unfriended each other and I got to hear about it from both sides. LOL! Yes I found out last year that you should always be very nice to the old relatives even if they don't seem nice to you. We had an Aunt by marriage, who was pretty scary, kind of a hermit, never wanted to visit, was very opinionated, you got the idea she was disapproving of any little thing you said. She was widowed young and lived alone in a small house. Never went anywhere, never dated again, never had any children of her own. I was pretty frightened of her. Well to our shock, when she died, she had named every one of us in her Will, even though we were not even blood relations. She named all our children as well. $10,000 each to me and my siblings and $5000 each to all the great-nieces and nephews. The rest she left to her blood relations. Made me glad I was nice to her and sorry for what I might have said about her behind her back. :-[
