I suspect the pants wetters are preparing their broadside attacks as effective and childish as the one nancy pelosi fired off this evening.

Thing is, appeal isn't automatic so it need not ever reach the Supreme court. If the defendant wants to lose, the case ends at that court. And Trump's administration was the only original defendant and the only one that has standing to appeal.
But... the summary judgement lists California as an Intervenor, so they got themselves added as defendants and appear to have standing to appeal. Will be interesting to see how this plays out - the logic seems to depend on perceived intent of two different congresses, among other connections.

JohnRoberts painted the Supreme Court into a corner when he invented the law to appease obama. Now that there is no tax, no how tortured that idiotic decision in the first place.

If the Supreme Court overturns this and Roberts votes to strike it down, I can't wait to see how he suddenly becomes a hero among the right.
I think his original vote was wrong, as with the other 4 justices, but I don't buy into any of the conspiracy theories people threw around about him.

I don't believe he was bought off. As a jurist, he is brilliant when it comes to the law. And he is extremely accomplished and highly regarded on legal matters.
But for me, what I do believe happened? Just take a look at what is going on today in DC with the weaponization of the FBI and DoJ by BHO. Draw your own conclusions, but the ACA was very important to BHO, and reportably Roberts was going to vote it down but changed at the last minute, no explanation.

This is a first battle - the war over this court case is far from over. However, it is encouraging to see.
I see this as a states rights issue anyway, Congress does not have the authority to make laws about everything. Push it to the states and let the states decide what their citizens prefer. If it's really good, then all the states will implement something like it. If its not good, then we know that Democrats have been tyrannical in pushing this legislation in the first place because they're forcing some places to do things they don't want or value.
State based laws is really the the way the US should work.

This could be why so many Republicans lack testicles. It's not a conspiracy theory if it actually happens and look what they did to Flynn threatening his son. I could easily believe there's a lot of that going on. Look at what happened to Kavanaugh, just the whiff of a threat along those lines would scare off most people.

That's a bit extreme, don't you think? I think the Nazis and actual communists like Mao and Pol Pot would be in that group.

There are far more lockstep liberal democrats (communists) than there were under pol pot, or mao. There are far more than there were nazis, though they certainly seem to relish just ‘following orders,’ just like the nazis.
