My latest fun hobby is watching police interrogations. What fun. In nearly every one, they read the person their rights in the beginning: "You have the right to remain silent. You can stop answering questions and leave whenever you want. You can tell me to pound sand and get up and walk out of here. You can demand a lawyer, etc. etc. Do you understand?" And the person says, "Yes, I understand," and then proceeds to allow themselves to be psychologically and emotionally manipulated by the detectives and spills their guts all over the place about their crime and then gets handcuffed and hauled to jail in the end.
What is wrong with these people? Why doesn't Michael Cohen SHUT UP. He's a lawyer for chrissakes of all people he should know better.

I am absolutely convinced these people are being threatened with bodily harm to their families. I suspect some of the RINOs who vote with the Dems are too.

Updating the electronics suite on my boat. 2 Flatscreen touch displays (12 inch and 8 inch), network box, AIS transponder (automatic identification system), NMEA2000 backbone, XM weather module. I also installed a VHF radio with DSC (digital selective calling).
Next project is engines/generator service to prepare for spring. Also completed compound and wax of hull and topsides.
Working a couple of large projects with the day job as well.

Does your VHF have 2 power options (low power/high power)? I have a Uniden and that's one of the features.

Not completely sure, but I think so. I'll take a look as we're ramping up for boating season. Here is the unit I got - http://www.icomamerica.com/en/products/marine/mountedvhf/m400bb/default.aspx
Since I have a quite small boat with very little space at the helm, this allowed me to put the "guts" of the unit under the helm. I was able to get a test response from Seatow's test frequency at my local sandbar which is 3 - 5 miles from the coast. But down in the keys at 5 miles I got nothin'.

I might not be around in the near future either, my husband just got a new job and we will be selling the house and moving. Again.
Congrats to your husband. Hope your selling and move go smoothly. So far our own home selling has had a couple glitches - like a major snow storm that knocked out power for us and thousands of others for over a week. Now we have to clean up downed trees. Lotta grunt labor ahead. Lost sales momentum. Though one family that has asked to see the place three times now may yet present an offer.
I had no idea till tonight that our listing agent had created a sales video of our property - I found it while searching our address. The photographer used a DJI Phantom to take the aerial shots. I watched him maneuver that thing pretty high (he said to get above the local trees which can grow pretty tall.) His eyes spent most of their time looking at the video screen of his controller. He did claim to have an FAA certificate for it.

That's really cool! I also like when they do "walkthrough" videos of the house. I never understood why realtors can't take pictures from angles that show the relationship of the rooms, the layout. You need to take it looking down hallways and through doors, but they all take pictures of the corners of bedrooms or the bathroom FROM the door and you can't see how the house is laid out. Or if they'd just post a picture of the floor plan. The walkthrough videos let you see the layout. That's one of the most important things in a house.
