I would like to think so.... ;D
-
Let's see.............
Comey lied to congress, McCabe lied to congress, Strzok lied to congress, Brennan lied to congress, Clapper lied to congress, Ohr lied to congress............
And not a word from Nancy or the dims.

I would like the female version of "Bubba" to put it to Nancy.....IN JAIL!

Nah. She'd probably like it. (except for the "jail" part).
Better if Bubba himself did it.

I don't think Pelosi was in that hearing, so probably no.
I'm still trying to figure out what the Dems think Barr lied about. The best I have is that they KNOW the president obstructed justice, so Barr's conclusion that he did not is a lie.
If they KNOW it, then they should proceed to impeachment and present the evidence. Otherwise, I see them as a bunch of whiny children.

I believe the fact that Barr did not give the answers the Dems wanted to hear automatically makes him a liar.

That is EXACTLY what they are doing. Do you know that liberal/progressives I know are still obsessing about Hillary winning the Popular Vote, as if that mattered for anything, and the number of votes Trump won certain critical states. They are still trying to invalidate his Presidency over nonsense. It is as if they are children that didn't get their way, so they will throw a four year temper tantrum.
No wonder all the Libs left here.

Can anyone explain how Congress can legally go after Trumps tax or financial records? They have zero oversight capability over the President.
I also believe the term “oversight” is quite abused.

Legally? No they can't.
But that's not going to stop them from trying. They are desperately in search of a crime. But our system of justice does not work this way.
The investigation is over. There was no crimes committed by the President.
-
Some states are trying to remove Trumps name from the ballot should he not produce his tax returns. This is ludicrous.

There is no requirement in the Constitution requiring tax returns to be President.

Actually, they can. Congress is entitled to view records if they are needed for a legitimate purpose and it the Congress’s judgment what constitutes legitimate.
Knowing it would never pass, they make a law that requires candidates to reveal the use of certain tax structures in the past 20 years. Then to research what needs to be relevant, they get the taxes from all recent presidents and candidates, so they can ensure they are building a law that applies fairly.
That they have put done this yet tells me they are just so emotional that they aren’t thinking straight.
If Republicans are lucky, Democrats will keep this up until late 2020 because they look petty doing it.

Yep.
What's next? The hardcore leftist states only allowing a democrat to be voted for? Totally removing anyone who is conservative or republican from the ballot?
And yet they accuse conservatives of being "tyrants" and "dictators".

This has been my question also. Who the fuck do they think they are? I’d like to find a good book on the separation of powers.

Answered about 3 posts back. They are entitled to see them in connection to building legislation.

I don't see how that makes sense. You said:

How does that give them the right to violate privacy? I propose we amend the Constitution to revoke the 4th amendment. In order to gather data to justify why we need to do that, I need to enter and examine inside the homes of many ordinary citizens so I can gather relevant information to show that many citizens possess illegal contraband even though there is no reasonable suspicion.
That's what this sounds like to me.

No offense Flynn but I don’t consider your answer authoritative. Repeating what a Politician says is not authoritative either.
Allowing congressional staffers (who write the bills) broad authority to rifle through personal documents of the Executive for whatever alleged purpose the legislature deems desirable is a direct violation of separation of powers.
This is as ridiculous as saying Congress could pass a law saying the President couldn’t make Treaties. They can’t, due to the separation of powers.

Exactly. He’s just making this up.

It's called grasping at straws.
