Title: Home Depot Boycott
Post by: nddons on July 09, 2019, 03:29:17 PM
Apparently the co-founder of Home Depot, who retired 15 years ago, had the temerity to spend $7 million in 2016 supporting Donald Trump, but it gets worse!  He had the gall to announce that Hess supporting Trump in 2020.

Obviously, that’s grounds to call for a boycott of Home Depot by the TDS-suffering left.

Oh, and he also stated that he will give 80% to 90% of his $5.8 BILLION to charity when he dies. But he gets no quarter for that because Trump used the word “pussy.”

The tyranny of the left is breathtaking.

Me too.  I need a few new Ryobi tools, plus some flashlights and other hurricane supplies.  My wife will understand.  As long as I don't tell her why.   ;)

This will help their sales just like the Left's complaints and boycott of Chik Fil A.

Every time the TDS crowd want to boycott something, business booms.

And they still don't get it.

the irony is the amount of china-produced stuff at home depot.

(I think "irony" is the right word - but I were a engineer so English isn't necessarily something I do good at)

(but, sure, I'm not likely to boycott home depot)

I wonder if they understand that another co-founder, Arthur Blank, is a huge Liberal?

The nearest Home Depot is now 350 miles away in Sioux Falls (a 5 hour drive, thanks to the speed limit being 80 mph a good portion of the way.) Does that make me a boycotter if I don't shop there anymore?

Lowes worst nightmare.
I hadn’t thought of that. Their stores flooded with liberals ... easily triggered, entitled virtue signallers falling over themselves to be seen NOT at Home Depot.

I think what he meant was the Home Depot's revenue will go up, which may take away from Lowe's.  Maybe I'm wrong.

I tend to shop Lowes more the HD due to their 10% veterans discount.

All that being said, I was at the Orange store yesterday and didn't notice a lack of customers.

We were there yesterday looking for a new Fridge.  Asked the saleslady specifically what we were looking for.  She said they didn't have exactly what we wanted but could order it.  We of course found one a minute later.

Care to translate this into something that could be understood?  ::)

That's the real reason the snowflakes don't like Home Depot, right?
