In some counties now you can't buy a water heater and install it yourself. They have passed laws that require a licensed plumber to install a water heater.
Of course, can you guess who was behind that law?

California used to have a big hot rod, muscle car and automobile culture in general. Where everyone from kids to adults worked on cars, from minor repairs to major modifications. What has happened to that State to turn it into what it is today. Yes, I know, URBANITE DEMOCRATS. Progressive control freaks selling their oppression as altruism.
The first thing I'd do is buy an old project car and do and Engine swap in the driveway.

Makes me remember my first car, a 1951 Ford Victoria with a flathead V8. I learned so much keeping that thing going. Don't see much of kids working on cars anymore. They don't know what they are missing.

This is the most important point. Liberal policies often hurt the poor the most. Especially the working poor because the welfare poor get their entitlements and probably don’t know their way around a wrench anyway. They have no trouble operating their government issued cell phone though.

Exactly. And all the higher taxes on Energy that these Progressives want hurt the working poor and middle income earner the most also. They will have to decide between buying gasoline to get to work or buy food for their families. Yet it makes the man made climate change zealots FEEL better about themselves as they drink their Lattes. Absolute morons.
