WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — Jake Poorman is exhausted. He's been trying to get every Democratic presidential candidate to sign a baseball, a souvenir of the wildest Democratic primary he's seen in his 60 years as an Iowan. He's gathered so many signatures — 16 — he had to get another ball.
That, coupled with the constant controversies out of Washington, has him a bit burnt out on politics.
"It's a lot of work," he bemoaned. "There's starting to be a bit of fatigue."
Iowans treasure the national attention that shines on them every four years when presidential candidates descend on the state, whose caucuses mark the beginning of an election year. But as virtually every Democratic contender swings through Iowa this weekend to participate in the famed state fair, even some die-hard Democratic activists are getting restless.

Why? He stated a position and was asked to clarify it. He got snarky and physical. He seemed to be very upset that someone would actually question his statements. I don't see how she deserved that response.

As I said, he shouldn't have grabbed her arm. He was reacting to being put on the spot like that. Other than touching her, I don't think what he said was a big deal, and no more snarky than she was. He was responding in kind. However, a seasoned politician should expect that, and not react like he did and stoop down to her level.

Agreed. As someone with over 150 years (or whatever) in politics he should be able to keep his cool when someone puts him on the spot. That he lost it to a college student asking a reasonable question puts his mental stability in question. Not to mention his constant daily mouth farts.

I love how Bernie, Warren, and the other admitted socialists love personal wealth. They also love FOSSIL FUELS, yet want to tell us our Cost of Living must go up drastically, and our Standard of Living must go down to:
1. Save the Planet by a huge wealth and income redistribution scheme.
2. Allow the funding of ILLEGAL ALIENS, and Open Borders.
3. Give Reparations to Blacks, LGBT, and next will be women due to "income inequality".
4. Take away guns from the law abiding only.

I'm on neither of their sides. I just don't see why she's all bent out of shape about it. Who says you don't do that in a crowd? When someone is drifting away and you're about to lose them what else was he going to do to regain her attention, grab a megaphone and yell toward her? It looked to me like he wouldn't have gotten her attention without grabbing her arm, she was moving away into the crowd. But I'm not on his side either, he obviously should have let it go with his first comment and not tried to rescue his image after fumbling his first answer. He's a moron. She is an oversensitive snowflake.
