Title: Case for Trump Term 2
Post by: Becky (My pronouns are Assigned/By/God) on November 20, 2019, 08:19:01 AM
Every day I read the President’s Twitter feed. The man is always working, working. He’s chipping away at what I’m sure he spent decades thinking about before he decided to run for the office.

Bottom line, he needs a second term to tackle the really thorny and explosive problems, like entitlements and the deficit.

I defy any Democrat to go head to head with Trump’s record of accomplishments in only three years and under constant attack on all fronts by the left and the media.

We need to start speaking up! The left is actively attacking what the President has done, or totally ignoring it, depending on how it fits their agenda.

Just today, I read this, which probably no liberal will see today:

I felt we needed a thread that provided some ammo for 2020 and holiday table talk. 😇

Liberals, pussies and democrats ( I know. I’m repeating myself) refuse to debate the performance of the President because they have zero accomplishments on their side of the ledger to put up against his.

I often hear Progressives on other websites call Trump a criminal, a pawn of Putin, lazy, stupid, a horrible businessman with lots of bankruptcies, a game show host, etc.  When asked for specifics, they never have any answers, just Orange Man Bad.  TDS for sure.

Haven’t researched it but heard on radio today a discussion about Trump’s proposal to enact transparency laws for medical costs! Apparently it’s a real thing!

So much so that ... wait for it ... insurance companies and hospitals already are suing POTUS to prevent it from going any further!!!

I love POTUS.

I still can’t get over the fact he’s actually going to fight the stupid low flow mandates. I never dreamed anyone would do that. I did indeed send him a letter bitching about it but it was almost a joke, I never imagined he’d actually do it.

Rush, get your mind out of the toilet!

(Sorry, couldn't resist. Low and away, you gotta swing!)

Yep, every single morning I have to flush 6 times whereas with the huge amounts of water in the old potties, I only needed to flush ONCE. It is a daily reminder of how much I despise this overreach of federal government into my very bathroom habits. And that doesn't even account for the rest of the day, every time I turn on the faucet and have to walk away and do my taxes before the hot water reaches the sink. I have yanked the flow restrictors out of all our shower heads.

Quote
A shower flow restrictor is installed either inside or outside a shower head, and it works to reduce water use. For example, the average person uses about ten gallons (approximately 38 liters) of water for each minute he or she showers. The installation of a shower head flow restrictor can cut this figure in half, allowing users to save on water expenses and water heating costs in addition to promoting green living. For the most part, high quality restrictors do not decrease the overall quality of the shower and are therefore virtually unnoticeable.

This is a LIE. It greatly reduces the quality of the shower.  If you shower for the same length of time, you do not adequately rinse all the soap and shampoo off you, and this promotes unhealthy skin problems. If you double the shower time, you are defeating the purpose of saving water AND you are uselessly wasting minutes of your life. It takes x amount of clear water to rinse y amount of soap off you; mathematical reality. These things give you the illusion of a lot of water by having very high pressure pin pricks of water hitting you, that feel like needles and do nothing to get you clean. Give me a big open pipe with a large diameter flow. It feels soft as silk and I will be washed, rinsed, done and clean in a quarter of the time. Stop lying to me.

People wonder why Trump got elected. THIS is why. Not because I'm racist or hate homosexuals or don't like Hispanics. I voted for Trump because I am sick and tired of Federal Government interference in every aspect of my life, politicians and bureaucrats fucking around with MY day and the quality of MY LIFE. This isn't freedom, I am fucking sick of it. Trump was outside of this monster the Feds and career politicians have become, and was promising to reign it in, and that is why I voted for him.

Forget about convincing the Left.  Trump could walk on water and they would scream "see, he can't swim" and try to impeach him.  So ignore the left, they're a lost cause.

Focus on being rational and convincing the middle 1/3.  Don't be partisan, just lay out facts.  None of the witnesses have any first hand knowledge.  They all heard about quid pro quo from the news media, then formed an opinion about it and testified to their opinion, that is proven by testimony transcripts.  The OMB frequently places holds on the dispersal of funds, it's actually a rather common occurrence.  Democrats are just disagreeing about policy.  Even after lecturing us for months that "Nobody is above the law", they aren't even charging a crime now.

In short, be the rational adult in the room, that's really what moderates want to hear.
