This is starting to really bug me. This is showing up more and more in news websites. It used to be that a headline would tell me pretty much what the story was about and I could go to the story if I wanted more information. Not any more. Now the headlines are clickbait for the story. They are using "THIS" to avoid telling me anything. This is mostly in Fox.com but I'm starting to see this everywhere. This has to stop!
DANIEL TURNER: If climate change is such a threat, left must do this
Cowboys lose key game to arch-rivals, then this happens at airport
Seattle just saw its darkest day in recorded history because of this

What’s this about? ;D
"This" is the hidden topic that they withhold in the headline to make you open the article. You just can't get the true subject and oh so "interesting" topic unless you click on it.

That’s insane.
In fact, it’s jaw dropping.

I despise those thises. Usually you have to click through 40 pages to get the answer and sometimes you never do and the answer will have nothing to do with the thumbnail. I have stopped clicking on anything that says “this”.
