Notice the article never mentions how the ACA (aka "Obamacare) caused insurance premiums to spike up to unaffordable levels for many, with excessive deductibles. Also no mention of the markets that were destroyed by the act and left them with only one choice, if that.

I will never forget. Obama claimed we would save $2000 a year. When Obamacare was passed our insurance company increased our premium by $2000 a year. Leftists are so fucking stupid about how real markets work.

Shocking. Lots of BIAS by OMMISSION in the media, including Reuters. Could someone possibly be a committed Leftist pretending to be "open minded". LOL.
When Obamacare changed the health insurance landscape, I spoke to many of my colleagues at work. ALL of them experienced huge increases in Premiums, and Huge increases in Deductibles. Our Copays also went up. The out of pocket expense SKYROCKETED for working people.

And for those using the government marketplace, it started off good but rapidly became bad. I have a friend who is a hard right conservative but poor, but not poor enough to get whatever that subsidy is. She didn’t like Obama or Obamacare but at first told me, “I have to admit I am thrilled with my cheap plan I got from the website.” The next year, “The rate has tripled! I can’t afford it I might have to take the penalty.”
It’s horrible for people who don’t have employer supplied group plans. The government screwed it all up way back when, with the wage freeze and tax incentives that made companies use health insurance as compensation. This kind of meddling in the economy the left will never learn is never good in the long run.
They lie and claim free market is why our healthcare system is so screwed up and that is a LIE. It hasn’t been a free market since before WWII. It’s the government meddling that screwed it all up and the Democrats want MORE government meddling as a solution. So stupid.
Obamacare has all kinds of bad unintended consequences like driving doctors away from Medicare and Medicaid patients forcing people to go to the ER for care and on and on it’s just a disaster. And the traitor Republicans didn’t repeal it when they had the chance. NO EXCUSE. The Democrats are just economically stupid or deliberately trying to kill the economy but the Republicans are supposed to nurture a healthy free market. The Republicans are TRAITORS. Drain the swamp!

That is what I meant when I said “Democrats are either economically stupid or deliberately trying to kill the economy”. I think your average voter and even many Congresspeople are the former and the hardcore communist plotters are the latter. Single payer total government takeover IS their goal.

An argument can be made that the Democrats, possibly at the bequest of Globalists want to tank the economy to force yet MORE Government intervention. Obamacare was an attempt to put another 1/6th of the economy under government control.
The proposed "fixes" for Man Made Climate Change are all economic and taxes, fees, surcharges and government regulations to put the rest of the economy under government control. This and more gun control laws should be our biggest concerns.

You can't get insurance coverage (other than temp policies) for a child in AZ unless it is part of a family plan. Fortunately the policy on my 13yr old is "grandfathered in" meaning they know they can jam me on the price because I have no options. The plan we have is 3x as expensive as it was not that many years ago.

Azure has a friendlier audience over at the Pilots Place. They have a real never Trumper over there that swears he is an Independent but if I had to guess I'd say he is a flat out progressive. I've stopped going there and PoA as part of slimming down my social media time.

I've said it before: Conservatives have no problem admitting to being a conservative....none whatsoever.
On the other hand, liberals will try not to admit their liberalism, and will hide behind "I'm a moderate" or my favorite, "militantly moderate".
To be fair, their are a few liberals that admit to it, and embrace it.

I criticize Trump when I disagree with him, but in general I approve of his OVERALL performance as President. It is the people that say they are "Open Minded", "Objective", "Moderate", and "Independent" that then blatantly act and speak in a Far Left Progressive manner and unreasonably criticize Trump and solely support Democrats. Pure DISHONESTY and HYPOCRISY.
