Since we have idiots ordering gun stores to close and releasing inmates "due to the coronavirus", what other pet projects will people come up with?
Whereas people are in a panic about COVID-19, Now therefore we <insert overreaction here>
1) Declare all incumbants unqualified to seek election (any election)
2) Order all playgrounds and fields closed

I am waiting to be told we can't leave our homes at all, but then how would people get supplies? I was told by a friend I-25 through Ohio has been shut down. Don't know if that is true or not. I foresee more travel restrictions. Will they shut down GA? Will they shut down certain roads?

Wasn't it Lucifer that posted the meme about how if the election is cancelled and Trump gets a new term, you will immediately find the politicans and media that promoted this panic begin to back pedal and say it is not so bad.

A couple that have already come up:
Closing liquor stores. People buy liquor at liquor stores to drink at home, where we want them to be.
Around here, they are banning driving on the beach? WTF good will that do? Sunshine and saltwater are a good thing to fight viruses. But some people have wanted to ban driving on the beach for years, so this gives them a good excuse. And if you are in your car, you are not infecting too many people that are NOT In your car.

Our governments hate our freedom of travel in many ways. They'd love us all to take public transportation or be forced to buy electric, autonomous vehicles where they can be heavily regulated on where they can go, and monitored. This is the antithesis of that push.
Also, the elites want us herded into cities or at least metro areas in close proximity to each other. The trend has been for people to continue to urbanize and we all know what happens to political ideology when people do that. They become Progressives (big government collectivists).

Maybe... but it's likely more stay at home within your big city than everyone moving back out to the country. Not sure this is going to reverse the politics, however, there is hope. I pulled this comment off twitter:

I believe, that Trump is playing the Democrats as well as some Republicans during this thing. He's exposing those that are not in favor of freedom and allowing you exercise it. When this subsides, I feel he'll use what he's learned against these folks by reminding everyone who was quick to take away your freedom. Convince me I'm wrong ;D
On another note, Greta Susteren post a video on Twitter with a "you must watch this". It is the sister of a congresswoman that is a doctor. She gets out her white board to methodically tell us how many people will be infected and how there are not enough ventilators to treat all of those people and we'll have to let 49 out of 50 die because of it. Here number actually assume everyone gets infected at the same time and that every person infected requires a ventilator to stay alive. More wonderful scare tactics. Yep. In his opinion, that's a racist xenophobic name for the virus. I characterized this as "Political Correctness at its finest."
I think the main problem is Trump calls it the Chinese virus and the MSM says that makes him racist.
