Quite to the contrary—prophets of nonexistent doom are often cheered as heroes no matter how many times they’ve been wrong.
Take Dr. Michael Mann, for example. The Pennsylvania State University author of the infamous “hockey stick” graph is still considered a god among the international climate change set; his graph launched the modern-day climate movement even though his work has been widely refuted by scientists and hacked emails showed how he and his fellow researchers manipulated data to “prove” their theory.
Now, we have the latest version of the hockey stick graph and it is related to COVID-19. The alarming visual indicates a huge spike in estimated deaths and hospitalizations in the United States from coronavirus infections over the next few weeks. Last week, a researcher at the University of Washington released a study that appears to serve as the scientific justification to extend the CDCs social distancing guidelines until at least April 30.

That’s not strange. There is statistically a surprise outbreak every few years. Just in this century by 2017 we’d had SARS, MERS, Ebola, H1N1. That’s one every less than 5 years on average, so anyone predicting that any next president will face an outbreak is almost certainly going to be right.
What is different about this one is the unprecedented economic suicide we are committing as a response. Fauci needs to be asked why the hell he recommends doing that this time, when he didn’t recommend it with any of the others.

Well, I sent an email to Trump, not a paper letter this time because of time urgency, suggesting Trump ask Fauci this exact question. Not that he hasn’t already, and not that he’ll even ever see my email, but I think we all need to put the pressure on all levels of government right now reminding them they need to balance lives lost to the virus against lives lost to the looming economic collapse. I’m getting ready to contact my governor next.

Our Governor, (The White Obama) is now recommending everyone wear a mask if they go out. So, I have an old mask from Halloween I'm going to put on. The Progressive have been pushing for a Recession for well over a year now so they could get rid of Trump. Well now they have one. >:(

This is full on political. The models are all over the place. Again, this is going to be less than the flu, yet we have destroyed our economy and the world economy over this. And now we are watching the progressives looting the treasury, and the tin pot wannabe dictators running their states like little politburos.
The Wicked Witch of the West is calling for "rolling lockdowns" through the fall. Gee, how convenient would that be! Hmmmm, first week of November the states of Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, ND and SD, Georgia, NC and SC will all be locked down. Oh so sorry! "It's for your own good!"
And Fauci. He's a deep state hack through and through. He's getting his orders from the swamp.

We rate this claim TRUE because it is supported by our research. There is no indication that the Obama administration took significant steps to replenish the supply of N95 masks in the Strategic National Stockpile after it was depleted from repeated crises. Calls for action came from experts at the time concerned for the country’s ability to respond to future serious pandemics. Such recommendations were, for whatever reason, not heeded.

I think Trump sees what’s happening, what could happen to society if it continues much longer, and will be pulling the trigger in May to get back to normal.
In turn, I agree with a little Joe - I think this economy will spring spring back with breakneck speed. This won’t be like the Brits who continued society among the ruins after the Battle of London. It will be more like post WWII United States.
