This hysteria we are currently seeing where EVERYTHING is Racist has got to stop. Are people just missing something in their lives that now drives them to look everywhere for something in which to be offended? Is it Social Media that has created this? Smart phones? Let's say you're a manager, better yet you're the President of NASCAR and while walking through the garage or one of your employees is walking through the garage and see this rope with a loop on the end, call it a "noose" if you'd like. Now what do you do?
The President of NASCAR chose to cut it down, wonder if he noticed it was the rope used to put the door down, and head off to the motor home of Bubba Wallace. He has in his hand a piece of PR Gold and his mind is already figuring out how he can best use it to his advantage. And thus we got the spectacle we saw on TV and all the news coverage, PR Gold in action. What if he or his employee that discovered the "noose" had simply reached up and untied it and moved on to look and see if any of the other garages had the same "noose" tied on them and went ahead and had them untied also. You could have even asked around a bit to see if anyone had noticed these "nooses" or have just let it go and moved on.
As the President of NASCAR, which would you have chosen?

For those that do not follow NASCAR, the drivers are not allowed in the garage area. They are only allowed to walk from their motor homes to the car and back as a COVID protection. The first time they see the car is when they climb in for the race. Bubba did not discover the noose. Not saying I back him, not in the least. He took advantage of the situation and allowed NASCAR to turn this into a big PR production. Apparently their current President must be a "woke" individual or feels the series must be "woke" to attract viewers. Their TV ratings are up at this point
Another tidbit about Bubba, while racing was paused there was virtual racing hosted by iracing.com. It was held for several Sundays on FOX or Fox Sports 1 for a couple of hours. Bubba was in one of those races and suddenly quit in the middle of a race. One of his sponsors, Blu-Emu" dropped him like a hot potato stating they did not back quitters.
