Can we celebrate good news?
In Maskachusetts, the daily number of deaths with COVID-19 is down. It's been trending downs for a couple of months.
The large number of covid-19 tests in Maskachusetts is showing a small percentage of positives (significantly less than 5%).
I've heard that at least one vaccine manufacturer is preparing to mass-produce vaccines (at the urging of the Trump Administration) in anticipation of successful trails (I gather that the normal process is to not risk ramping up production capability until after FDA approval of the vaccine). This particular company is aiming to have 300,000,000 doses by Jan 2021.

Researchers at Arizona State U. (iirc) have found a strain of COVID-19 that appears to have mutated from the original, and is missing a large number of proteins. Having covid-19 mutate is probably a good thing.

The problem is the MSM is not discussing the fact that deaths are trending down. Unless someone is willing to go dig for the information, it's not readily available.
The media uses the phrase "cases" because it sounds more ominous. They also fail to mention that a huge number of the positives are asymptomatic.

You’re probably right, for two reasons. I aways get colds in the spring for some reason. This year nothing I don’t wear masks, ever, but I’ve limited being out and about and mostly away from my office.
The second reason though is that any flu or pneumonia cases will probably be called Covid cases.

According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, state ICU bed capacity is hovering around 88%.
Dr. Uppalapu says that number may not even capture the true severity.

Many in the Medical Community are Progressive Democrats. It is in their nature. I see it in my family which has many doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc. All Leftists. They think they are well intended and "caring". Bliss Ninny, Nanny State types.

today's (30 June) COVID-19 for Maskachusetts has decreased the total number of COVID-19 deaths "Due to ongoing data cleaning which identifies and removes duplicate reports, the number of both confirmed and probable deaths has decreased as of today’s report"
btw - has any noticed that the daily death number for COVID-19 have been well below 1000/day for a few weeks? (if you believe the totals computed by worldometer)
