He was the best Bond and had a stellar career afterwards.   RIP.

The mark of a great actor is how they can get into a character and convince the viewer that they are indeed that character, without question.

Very few actors are able to pull that off.   Sean Connery was absolutely perfect in whatever role he was portraying.

I agree 100% with all comments. Best bond ever. He was a man’s man. Not many of those left any more.

Was bummed when his character died in the Untouchables - though he did get in the great line about a knife to a gunfight.

I agree. That was one of his best movies (and being from Chicago, one of my favorite movies), and he was just a supporting actor.
