(I'm not poking fun at the people who are nervous about taking a covid-19 vaccine or any vaccine)
it (finally) occurred to me that those of us who want a covid-19 vaccination should, in a sense, be happy that others are declining a vaccination - it means we get shot earlier.
So, by all means, wait until you feel it is the right thing for you to do.
again, it's your choice.
and, no, I'm not doing any reverse-psychology thing either.

I have a history of anaphylaxis so for now I’m not taking it. But I am a hermit and very unlikely to get exposed. If that changed, and I figured the risk of getting covid now outweighs the risk of the vaccine I’ll consider it, but only one shot. It’s not a static calculation, it changes over time.

Thankfully it's still a personal choice. I've been with thousands of people over the last year going to client locations and exposed to a lot. Many people for some reason pull down their mask to talk to you. I don't get that one. Why wear it?
Anyway if I don't have it by now, I'm either immune because I already had it or just don't care if I get it as I trust my immune system.

The Branch Covidians are pushing to be vaccinated to travel in a public system (trains, busses, airline) to be vaccinated to enter certain public facilities, to be admitted to school, etc. Even to do work related functions will require a vaccination.
If they get their way, we will have to carry a vaccination card.
I read yesterday they are even going to start vaccine trials on children. The Branch Covidians want covid vaccine to become a mandatory requirement.

Scary. I've heard all kinds of things. They're going to tie it to your passport so no International travel, then the airlines will also require it for domestic travel also, etc.
Madness. If I wanted to live in Nazi Germany, I'd invent a time machine and go back. At least I'd be able to fly a 109, 190 or even a 262 possibly. ;D

Nazi Germany would be preferable. The surveillance now with technology is worse than an Orwellian nightmare.

Covid is all about control and submission. Clear away all of the propaganda, misinformation and censorship and we begin to see the extremes that government went to were not actually needed.
This is number one reason we will never get rid of the Branch Covidians. Covid has provided for them in an incredible small timeline what they tried for decades to get through their other hoax climate change. Covid is here to stay in one form or another. Even Pope Tony is gloating about "future pandemics". Remember, over a year before Covid Pope Tony predicted Trump would be hit by a pandemic. Tells you all you need to know right there.

Here’s what I understand about the actual science of masks. If you sneeze or forcefully spit large droplets when you talk then yes, the masks will protect others from more exposure (bigger droplets contain more virus particles) assuming the drops land in their eye or mouth or hand and they then put their hand in their mouth. All the rest of the time the mask doesn’t do a damn thing.
I don’t generally spit when I talk and I don’t think I have sneezed one single time in the whole year we’ve been wearing masks. So even if I had the covid and even if asymptomatically I could spread it (unlikely) whether or not I wore a mask all that time made no difference.
So people who remove the mask to talk accomplish exactly nothing. If I were to sneeze while wearing a mask, my first instinct would be to pull the mask down. No way do I want to sneeze a bunch of snot confined to the mask shooting back up into my own eyes and face. So again the mask accomplished zero. Human instinct is not to contain your sneeze. That’s why it’s so forceful. It’s your body’s way of ridding itself of harmful substances. Your body wants to project it away from you.
No, I do not openly sneeze at other people. Normally I will turn 180 degrees and sneeze into my sleeve with it pressed over my nose and eyes directing the sneeze downward toward the ground and in a direction away from others. I think almost everyone does a variation of this when in the presence of others. For the few people who, when they feel a sneeze coming, let it go directly into the face of another, then sure, maybe the mask might help prevent contagion... assuming they have one on in the first place, and don’t impulsively pull it down.
I never sneezed, but if I had, I imagine I would have pulled down the mask and directed it below my sleeve and away from people, so again, wearing the mask accomplished nothing.
A true scientific study would take all these human behavior factors into account.

The problem is human nature and mob mentality based on emotion and myth. People spread opinions and whip each other up and it’s gotten far worse and more easily spread since social media came on the scene. So even if you don’t have government mandates you have extreme social pressure and we have seen this, people being attacked in stores for not having a mask on, and extreme mob mentality will pressure government and corporations to mandate anything, not based on facts and reality but based on mass hysteria. We see it all the time, always have since the dawn of history.
And it is nothing new that mass hysteria is used by the unscrupulous to gain power.

Yesterday I go to the grocery. As I'm approaching the door a young teen (17 maybe?) wearing the store uniform and double masked says "Sir, take a mask please". I stop, and ask "Has something changed? There is no mask mandate anymore, and even your store said they were not enforcing mask".
The reply? "Sir, please take a mask and wear it!". Again, I asked if something has changed, and got "Please sir, take the mask and wear it!"
I smiled and said no thanks, and went about my way.
This was a teen, double masked. Why? He's in the lowest risk group which for all practical sense is nil (unless he has an underlying problem)
The whole pleading for mask is media and government hyped drivel. And the young indoctrinated who spend hours on FakeBook and other propaganda sites are so taken in by this.

We have good friends much younger than us, who were terrified into huddling inside their home for eight months.
They had food delivered and left on the doorstep, refused to allow anyone in their home, or go anywhere.
They both worked from home and were the last people I would have thought could contract the chinese virus.
Both of them got it very badly.
She was hospitalized for several weeks.
We lived our normal lives, ate out, shopped, (we live in a great state, not a democrat shithole) worked outside the home, socialized with those not frightened and cowering behind the barko lounger and never had a sniffle.

Huddling inside your home and never going outside means you’re D deficient (unless you supplement) and vitamin D has absolutely been correlated with COVID outcomes.
For that matter staying away from people and their germs weakens your immune system. Our bodies require regular exposure to pathogens of all sorts to maintain a strong defense against disease.
