The NCAA is setting itself to take "strong action" against Florida member schools when the Governor signs the new law requiring only biological females to compete in female sports.
No kidding.
If you support men competing against women in women sports, then you are stupid, just like them.
There is a college contemplating cutting down all conifers because they are suddenly racist and might be too triggering for stupid liberals who might imagine them being used to lynch blacks.
If you support such a thing you are STUPID.
To many liberals, someone being born to two white parents is racist and if you think that, you are really stupid.
A teacher was caught ranting about the effrontery of parents actually questioning how their children are being indoctrinated by liberal teachers. If you agree that parents interested in their child's education is terrible, then you are just as stupid as the people mentioned above.
It doesn't matter where you look, there is never ending stupidity being inflicted against Americans by stupid people called liberals. If you agree with those people who want men to stand beside your daughters and wives while they change their clothes and use the bathroom, you are stupid. If you think conifers are racist, you are even stupider. If you think being white is racist you are stupid and a racist pig.
If you think math is racist, then you are not only stupid, but too lazy to learn proper math, just like if you think using proper English is racist, you are not only lazy and stupid, but ignorant and an idiot.

Like labor unions, the NCAA has outlived its usefulness and should die a slow, painful death.
When I played DIII football 40 years ago the rules were stupid. I think the stupidity level has grown exponentially.

Florida schools should just walk away from the N AA, refuse to pay them.
Refuse to acknowledge and refuse to allow them to practice discrimination in Florida.

Isn't having separate women's sports leagues like having separate "colored" leagues? Isn't that condescending and misogynistic? We should have just one league and anyone that can qualify should be allowed to play.
But it doesn't really matter to me anyway. I don't watch sports any more, except for the occasional Ga. Tech game when friends get together.
Oh, and I do watch women's beach volleyball a few times every few years. That is one sport that needs to remain "all women" (real women).

Maybe they're the smart guys. Maybe they're the "in your face" guys.
I've been hearing the liberal feminist argument my entire life: women are just as good, smart, strong, capable, blah blah blah. Maybe these guys have had enough and are forcing the issue.
Personally, I don't think there should be men's or women's sports -- come to tryouts and if you make the team, you're on. If you don't, well, you're not good enough.

Nope. That would be sexist. You must have proper representation. 50% of the players of the NFL must be women, 13% Black, 18% Hispanic, and so on. Oh, and 16% must be 65 years or older. Diversity!

To the libs, no one should be left out. I remember O’s agriculture czar saying with a straight face that crops grown with 13% nonorganic sprays and fertilizers should be able to be classed as “organic.” He said “We don’t want our nonorganic friends to be entirely left out.”

I still don't get why they are stopping at "transgender".
There are something like 142 other genders and the NCAA hasn't ruled on where each should play sports. Can a fully biological male who identifies as a woman but conforms to societal norms out of peer pressure play women's sports or will the NCAA perpetuate the societal prosecution?
Until they have their answers in order, they have no business opposing the legitimate governments.
The NCAA has no authority to interpret federal law for Florida.

Only a long term reduction in revenue will cause them to do that, but even if a boycott is temporarily successful, people will soon forget why they are boycotting and return in droves. People still look at me like I'm crazy when I say I am boycotting baseball because of the strike (in 1995). What put it over the top for me was when John Rocker of the Atlanta Braves said he doesn't care about the fans. Fans don't pay his salary.

You're right Joe, it is about MONEY, but the colleges are totally bought into the the BLM, Woke, SJW, Far Left movement that the NCAA has essentially adopted. Ultimately, college sports like Football and Basketball are huge revenue generators and yes, that's what matters most to them.

I dunno. University sports departments don't join the NCAA, university academic administrators do. At the core, the NCAA is about maintaining academic standards and the administrators responsible for that don't care about how much money the sports dept makes.
If the NCAA applies sanctions to all Florida schools, they will be setting a precedent which endangers their ability to regulate those academic standards. They won't have any bullets left in their gun and the universities will becomes the ones being punished, but they cannot "fix" it. Why would the sports depts continue to follow other NCAA rules if they're going to be punished anyway?
