He's been a loser for his whole career in politics. His major accomplishment? He bilked the taxpayer for millions in training cost so he could get a ride on the space shuttle.

He spent his entire working life living of the taxpayers, pandering to assholes and voting with pelosi on every single bullshit bill.

The paper here lists all the votes in the House and Senate and shows how each of our representatives voted.
In just about every case, I disagreed with the way Nelson voted.

However, he did vigorously support the Space program. He brought billions of dollars into Florida for NASA. Of course though, that might not be so good if you don't happen to live in Florida.

He might be a crappy choice for this job, but considering the results of the last election, we could have worse. Elections DO have consequences, regardless of HOW they are won.
