Just saw a tweet saying JAX Center controllers walked out last night affecting 650 flights. Anyone heard anything or is it rumor?

If everyone walked out at JAX why is only Southwest affected? What I heard it was a combination of vacations, the 48 hour rest after vaccination, and of course weather.

It was not just Southwest at JAX you are mixing up 2 different stories. It was all airlines at JAX. Just look at the news, it was weather.

I think that’s true. My husband’s company sent out a notice requiring all employees to report whether or not they were vaccinated and then they would analyze the data and make a decision whether to mandate vaccines. They have an in-company forum and my husband told me it blew up with people saying they’d quit if they mandated it.

Our firm did the same survey last week. 8,000 employees. This is complicated by the fact that we are federal contractors, so if you work in those offices that serve the federal government, my understanding is that forced vax has already happened under the last EO that required federal employees and contractors to get vaxed.

I don’t know how many employees they have but they’re big. They can’t afford to have half their employees walk off the job, they provide electricity to several states.
So the Democrats and branch covidians don’t care if planes stop flying and the lights go out just as long as they get to ram their will down everyone’s throat. Damn authoritarians.
