While there are people who want to destroy the US, attributing that to everyone on the left destroys your credibility. Outside the true anarchists, most of them believe they are “helping”. They don’t want to destroy the US, it’s just a side effect of their hubris.

First, who in this thread said “everyone” on the left wants to destroy the U.S.? Many Democrat voters are simply stupid (think they’re helping like you say) or pre-conversion, like Candace Owens (she used to be a liberal).
Second, I totally disagree that only “true anarchists” want to destroy America. The left are the opposite of anarchists, they are about total centralized control. The Constitution and the idea of individual liberty run counter to that goal, this is why they want to destroy them.

True! I have documented evidence of it in the form of a letter from a professor at (redacted, they’ll sue me for defamation for speaking truth) dated 1972 or thereabouts. He was forced out of his job by these ideologues who had been indoctrinated by a couple of literal communists who came over in the 60s from France and spread their politics through the faculty and dean’s office, then engaged in systematically eliminating anyone not in line with their leftism.
They didn’t stop there. They then blacklisted him so he was unable to get a teaching job at other universities. My father was a professor and this guy was asking for help or any leads. My understanding is in the 60s half or more university professors were conservative or Republican but now over 90% are liberal or Democrat. This was done not only through indoctrination but also deliberate ejection of those who didn’t comply.
The race problem replaced the class problem of traditional Marxism. They couldn’t openly promote classic communism because in the 60s everyone knew communism was bad, we saw the death and destruction caused by communism where it was tried. So they repackaged it using race instead of class and until recently denied they were Marxists or communists at all.
