Well, that’s the point of a restrictive set of discussion-strangling rules, isn’t it? No one who flies planes could deny that part of the fun is pitting your skills against gravity.

The so called rules over at PoA are rather subjective. It's no secret they apply whatever rules they decide to whomever. It's also well known that some of the mods moderate strictly by their ideology. Then of course they have those on the forum that can post whatever they please without fear of reprisal.
I don't care for the place and left long ago as it offers little to nothing in the form of aviation. Get's rather tiring watching low time private pilots pontificate about what a bunch of experts they are on all things aviation.
