President Trump is killing in Kenosha tonight.
He has a big, excited crowd and is hammering the senile imposter, pedo faux President fuckwad.

Any bets on when he announces he’s running in 2024?

Hopefully he will continue to torture the fucking communist democrats until right after the mid terms and then go into campaign mode.

As long as he stays out he can continue to hammer the way he is now.
Once the campaign f8nance laws kick in the fucking lying, corrupt communist democrats will start to use them to persecute his every thought, work and deed.

Good point. He’s basically campaigning now.

Trump/Desantis?

I understand DeSantis has already made ads for running for a second term as governor.  He is a shoe in for that and I have a feeling he is comfortable there.  I don’t see him giving that up to play second fiddle to Trump.  Maybe in 2028 or beyond when Trump is out of the picture he’ll make a presidential run.

Besides, while technically not illegal for a presidential candidate and his running mate to be from the same state, it can create problems.  I’d be surprised if we end up with Trump/DeSantis.  I can’t say right now who I think Trump would pick as a running mate.

IIRC, bush/cheney had the same state problem and cheney switched his residency to his ranch in Wyoming. The communist democrats filed suit over it but the federal court allowed that anyone is allowed to live where they wish.

There is no reason for Ron DeSantis to say a single word about running for President, or Vice President until after he wins re-election.

Florida is a resign-to-run state, but that does not include federal offices, which was put into law so congresscritters could make a run at higher office without having to resign the one they are in, if the one they are running for overlaps the one they hold.

A Trump - DeSantis ticket would be enormous.

Oh, and fuck lizzy cheney.

I’d vote for it.  Trump/DeSantis that is, not Liz Cheney, just to be clear.  ;D

I really don’t want Trump to run. He will be too old by all measures, and he can only give us one term. Add in the accusations of 1/6 and the right will NOT be able to outshout the MSM.

DeSantis is too bright of an executive to spend four years of obscurity as VP. He also doesn’t have it in him to be a Trump apologist for six years.

We need DeSantis NOW, in 2024, even if he has to run in a primary against Trump.

Some people would say you’re being black pilled and buying what the Dems and TDS Repubs want you to believe.  The polls show Trump is far ahead of DeSantis and DeSantis wouldn’t win a primary so what you want will be moot anyway unless something major changes, which could very well happen.  I’m not saying you’re wrong, I have the same misgivings about Trump. I’ve wondered myself which I’d vote for if they ran against each other.  But I’m leaning to Trump for one reason:  He is a known entity.  As much as I like DeSantis he has not yet proven himself nationally.  We don’t really know what he’d do as president.  I do like that he’s younger but does that outweigh Trump’s proven track record?

Trump has too much baggage is a common complaint but that “baggage” consists of the vicious constant onslaught of the elite machine, and the reason it is so heavy is because Trump is a direct threat to them.  It’s nothing Trump himself did.  Mean tweets notwithstanding, come on!  If DeSantis wins the presidency, one of two things must happen:  Either he caves to the corruption and joins the elite, or he doesn’t and then they commence attacking him as much as they did Trump.

There is no happy scenario where we get a president who won’t be bought off, will drain the swamp and be on the side of we the people, and at the same time will be respected by the media and the left.  If DeSantis proves to be a MAGA populist he will be turned into the Anti-Christ just like Trump has been.

But then, Trump will be old.  I hate to be ageist.  Statistically it’s rare for an 80 year old not to have some form of cognitive deficit.  Age will be used against him if Biden doesn’t run, and I’m 99.9%  sure Biden won’t be the nominee.  So does that mean DeSantis has a better chance to beat whatever Dem than Trump?

Maybe.  I will have to decide when the time comes whether to back him.

If DeSantis runs, he will be the anti-Christ.   The democrat communist will manufacture a scandal, and their MSM will carry the water.

We shall see.  Lots can happen over the next year.

Respectfully, I’ve been around the block, and don’t get influenced by Dems, media, or TDS people. I’ve been voting for 44 years, and I’ve seen seen it all.

I’ve seen more self-inflicted wounds by the GOP than I care to admit.

Do you honestly believe that if nominated, Trump would be looking forward to MAGA and not re-litigate 2020?  I don’t.

Another problem is it’s all about him; he lost plenty of opportunities in 2016-2020 to step aside and allow democrats to self-immolate.  Instead, he  inserted himself into the moment and made it about him.

Trump was the greatest conservative president in my lifetime. I believe he won in 2020. But we can’t go back.

He will be too old by any measure when he is sworn in, and he can only give us 4 years. I want 8 years. It’s rare in history that voters give one party a full 12 years of the Presidency, so I think Trump followed by DeSantis is unrealistic.

As for DeSantis, he’s not well known across the country at this point, but governors rarely are well known at first. He is hitting his executive experience out of the park, and I don’t see the fear about being bought off. Anything is possible, but from what little I know, he has character.
