Well, she works at my gym four or five nights a week, takes 18 credits as an Accounting major at a nearby university. Plus she sees me on weekends and at the gym. I've been talking to her for a YEAR and finally got the nerve to ask her out a few weeks ago. I haven't dated for a while because I just wanted to be alone and work on myself. She's really beautiful and sometimes I have to pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming. I doubt it will last really long but for now it's great.

She gets a point for majoring in accounting. Can't be a leftist, that's non-negotiable. If she has no credit card debt and no car loan debt that's a plus. I can forgive student loan debt since it's a good degree, as long as she pays it off and doesn't want me - taxpayer - to pay it off for her. I take it she's not fat since she works at a gym, that's good.
Have you located her on the hot crazy matrix? Not that it matters because a female can at any time vanish and reappear anywhere else on the chart.

She's a double major. Accounting and Business Science which we used to call Management. Most students today take 12 credits per semester, she's taking 18 in a challenging curriculum. No she's not fat. She's thin, fit but proportionally curvy in all the right places.
My friends think I'm nuts. My daughter thinks it's a little creepy. People are judging me harshly. I've known her for a YEAR. I am cautious as Hell. She's not after money nor commitment. I already told her that's out. This is just two people getting along who have some chemistry. That's it.
If I were younger, she'd be marriage material on the hot crazy matrix but it's still early. Lol. I'll never get married again.

I have a daughter also. She's exactly twice this woman's age. My daughter isn't happy about it. So, I understand where you are coming from. Let's look at the facts, shall we?
I've known her for over a year. We've talked almost daily during that time and as we've gotten to know each other we've become very comfortable together. In the last few months, she ratcheted up the number of times she talks to me at the gym each day and has made it painfully obvious she wanted more. If I hadn't asked her out it would have been insulting. We get along so well we don't even have to try.
My daughter sides more with you as do some of my friends. None of you have met her nor see us interact. She's very mature for her age, is a driven, serious student but not too serious as she wants to also have fun and do stuff. It feels right to me and her, so we're going with it.
If I ever meet her parents, that will be "interesting" but if she asks me, I will certainly do that. I could probably charm the mother, but the father on the other hand..... :D
I can deal with it. It it inevitable we part at some time probably in the not-too-distant future but for now it is a good thing for both of us.

Thanks Stan. I'm a little defensive as I have caught grief from friends and family like my daughter as I've mentioned. My one friend, the guy that owns the Bo said if I ever do meet her parents it will be like the movie "Guess who's coming to dinner". Lol!!!
