Canada has no 2A. They sided with the British during our Revolution so are used to being told what to do by Royalty which Trudeau represents. Not saying there aren't a lot of pissed off Canadian gun owners but they made their bed a long time ago.

Yes but I don't know that Antifa is the cause. Economic damage from lockdowns, inflation, energy prices and out of control immigration in Europe, as well as draconian "green" policies are causing big uprisings around the world that we aren't hearing about in the news. The tyranny may be a response to the protests, which are a response to tyranny, it's a vicious cycle. In the U.S. you could argue that Antifa riots of 2020 certainly fueled the domestic tyranny but maybe it's Trump hate fueling it even more.

In my opinion the correlation has come about due to the willful, purposeful utilization of the radical left Antifa movement as a tool of the left to advance tyranny. Look at the US. We had an entire year of destruction of our cities by BLM and Antifa. Cost that they paid? Zero.
Now comes 6 Jan 2020, and some of those protestors are still rotting in jail, pre-trial, without legal representation. People who just thought about that date are getting their homes raided by the FBI. Etc etc.

The STASI/KGB/GRU (FBI) are now the Democrats' secret police. You can also make parallels to 1930's Germany and the Nazi Brown Shirts, then SS and Gestapo. Federal government agencies are now politicized, weaponized entities for the sake of punishing and eliminating political opposition. Not just the Law Enforcement or intelligence agencies either, IRS, EPA, Interior and the rest.
