Just saw an interview with President Trump, who said he heard of the poll but isn’t paying too much attention to it because Truth Social is better than Twitter, and has some of the smartest people on it. Classic Trump!

I keep reading about fascist-book losing their ass these days.
I can’t speak to that with any personal experience.
My bride has a Facebook account and uses it to keep up with the grandkids, but that’s it.
There is something deranged about putting your life out on an internet page and hoping strangers will comment on it in a positive way.
I couldn’t possibly care less where people went over the weekend, or what they cooked for dinner.
The politics of fascist-book make me nauseous, so even accidentally causing them to earn money thru click bait isn’t in my plan.
That would be like reading The NY Times, just marginally less stupid.

the FBI paid $5 million to an Israeli software company for a license to use its “zero-click” surveillance software called Pegasus. Zero-click refers to software that can download the contents of a target’s computer or mobile device without the need for tricking the target into clicking on it. The FBI operated the software from a warehouse in New Jersey.
Before revealing any of this to the two congressional intelligence committees to which the FBI reports, it experimented with the software. The experiments apparently consisted of testing Pegasus by spying — illegally and unconstitutionally since no judicially issued search warrant had authorized the use of Pegasus — on unwitting Americans by downloading data from their devices.
Now that we know the fucking criminal scum from the FBI is manipulating elections, I have no doubt that we have a lurker here reporting our opinions to the fucking lying, criminal scum at the FBI. The lies that person tells are probably even worse.

And I have no doubt the Israeli company is working with the Mossad to put in some backdoor into the software to hack into the FBI's systems. It's treason to me that any law enforcement/intelligence agency would use software from a country whose motives are dubious at best.

I actually went and created a Twitter account to see what all the fuss was about. Musk's tweets are pretty amusing as are Scott Adams'. Other aviation related tweets and NASA are pretty cool. I go there (for now) for amusement. I come here for friendship and insight. And the chicks.

I’m now having more fun reading my Twitter feed than being here.
I had Twitter for several years, but hardly ever used it. It seemed too clunky to know what’s current and what’s old, etc.
I dropped it on principle when they dropped Trump, even though I hardly ever saw these mean tweets everyone talks about.
Not sure if I’ll get back on or not. I affirmatively closed my account, not just stopped using it.
