I believe it was George Burns, when he was in his '90s that explained why he still liked 19 yr old women:
When I was in my '20s, I loved 19 yr old women; and 19 yr old women haven't changed.

Speaking of Corvettes, Mark just finished painting the body. He is fully restoring a 1980 model. I’m really proud of him, he’s worked very hard on it. Well I say finished, but it has to cure now, then I guess he polishes or some other step. He’s already done the frame, the brakes, the engine, I think the wiring harness is next.

The only time I got speeding tickets when driving a red car is when I was speeding. ;)
The solutions are to either not speed or not get caught. Not driving a red car is not a solution of course! I have a Valentine 1 radar detector, so you can guess one of my solutions (the other is being retired I actually drive the speed limit more often since the aging me isn't in such a hurry anymore.) Still, there was that one time I was pulled over by Wisconsin State Troopers that paced me in an unmarked car. (Plural on Troopers because several cop cars pulled several of us over in a bunch. No safety in numbers that day.) But the car I was driving at the time wasn't red....

The only time I got speeding tickets when driving a red car is when I was speeding. ;)
I had the same experience.
But I did get two speeding tix for doing about 10 mph over in a red car. I have NEVER gotten a ticket for doing 10 over in any other color.
They really don't call that color "arrest me red" for nothing.
