Title: Poor Misunderstood Black Lives Matter
Post by: nddons on November 17, 2015, 08:18:30 PM
The poor, misunderstood BLM at Dartmouth:

Dartmouth students lead profane Black Lives Matter protest

Black-clad protesters gathered in front of Dartmouth Hall Thursday night, forming a crowd roughly one hundred fifty strong.

Ostensibly there to denounce the removal of shirts from a display in Collis, Dartmouth’s student center the Black Lives Matter collective began to sing songs and chant their eponymous catchphrase. The band then marched into Baker-Berry Library.

“F*** you, you filthy white f***s!”

“F*** you and your comfort!”

“F*** you, you racist s***!”

These shouted epithets were the first indication that many students had of the coming storm. The sign-wielding, obscenity-shouting protesters proceeded through the usually quiet backwaters of the library. They surged first through first-floor Baker-Berry, then up the stairs to the normally undisturbed floors of the building, before coming back down to the ground floor of Novak Café.

Throngs of protesters converged around fellow students who had not joined in their long march. They confronted students who bore “symbols of oppression” such as “gangster hats” and Beats-brand headphones…

Students who refused to listen to or join their outbursts were shouted down:“Stand the f*** up!” “You filthy racist white piece of s***!” Men and women alike were pushed and shoved by the group.

“If we can’t have it, shut it down!” they cried. Another woman was pinned to a wall by protesters who unleashed their insults, shouting “filthy white b****!” in her face.

In the immediate aftermath of the demonstration, social media was abuzz with comments condemning the protesters for their tactics.

This must be the "discussion on race" that I keep hearing about.

I guess if black thugs do it, it's not racism....

Like if Obama does it then it's not illegal?

There is obviously a huge double standard in what is considered racist.  In order to right past wrongs (which is impossible) the media, education, and government all give free passes to people of color, yet crucify white people, especially white males.

Notice how all this shit happens in soft target areas.  Bring it into the open of a right to carry state and these bastards will get their just dessert.

I'm sure BLM will be in Louisville on May 20-22, 2016 to infiltrate and protest the NRA Annual Meetings. Not.

Nor PA.  People are more law abiding, and polite when they think you may be legally armed.

I laughed for ten minutes when I saw that special snowflake whining that the bombings in Paris were taking attention off of the black lives matter issues. What pathetic excuses for young adults.

That's the best thing about college. In just a few short years, all the kids there are 100% sure they have figured out everything about the world. After they have figured it all out, they just have to either start, or join a "movement". Bonus points for protests that cause property damage, injuries and have police involved. That means your movement is enduring a struggle and worthwhile. With any luck, someone somewhere will die during this struggle and you can join the pages of history and tell your kids- "I was there when..."

Yep.  Based on the stories, you would think there were 150,000 students enrolled at Kent State at the time of the National Guard shootings.

I had just graduated from university and I got talked into going to a protest rally against the the first Gulf War invasion near UC Berkeley.
It was kind of like a party invitation. "Come on, we're all going to the protest!" I do remember some alcohol involved and marching around with candles, but it was pretty stupid and really meant nothing. Mind you I thought it was stupid then, but hey, there were girls there!!!

I have no intentions of attending anymore protests unless the government sincerely starts to take our constitutional rights away.

I think our government on many levels, but especially the Feds have infringed upon many of our rights.  I have attended some pro 2A rallies which were often counter rallies to an anti (legal) gun rally.  They were peaceful, and everyone was well behaved except for some of the women that were rabidly anti anyone owning a gun.  The like to yell, and scream, get in your face, and try to bait you into an argument.

BLM is a phoney movement based on lies, and media driven.

16 blacks were shot this weekend in New Orleans, including a 14-year old girl who was shot once in the knee and 5 times in the back.  Of course you heard virtually nothing on the news about this.

I thought black lives mattered?!?!

Only if it serves the mantra and the progressive agenda.
Otherwise... not so much.

As we see in this murder in Indiana

It was obviously mmgw that caused these ghetto thug, gang bangers to rape, abuse, and murder this woman and others.

You know, obama said so.
