Matt Gaetz is a loose cannon and is taking the Republican party down.  It feels like a win for many now until it drags out for weeks trying to get agreement on a new speaker.

I didn't know McCarthy had a deal with Democrats.  They didn't vote for him.

He made concessions and promises to get this position, then reneged.  I'm still waiting for the release of the Jan 6th tapes.
I'm glad he's gone and I thank God for people like Matt Gaetz.

I've read that there are people who camp in their EVs.  I had not really paid attention to how well that works, so went looking for real-world reports and found some:

No.  That's camping in California, or Virginia, or Vermont.  I'm talking about the middle of nowhere in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, or Nevada where the nearest town is 70 miles away and most certainly does not have a charging station.

Exactly.  Even if you live in a city and never go far, don't you ever go on vacation? Or if you need to evacuate for any reason?  The idea of not having a car to go a long distance to me is scary. I'd have to have two cars if one of them was EV.

Sometimes vacation is camping in the backcountry.  You can't do that with an EV.  Gas powered with a couple of jerry cans, please.
