The international CNN version is just as bad as the domestic version.
I’m sure it it, but I was asking if they have the same way of delivering it. In other words, does CNN India get Wolf Blitzer, or an Indian or other non-US announcer?

Oh yes, very much so. The intl CNN is the only thing that most of the rest of the world knows about the US. To listen to them for only a few minutes one would think our nation is on the verge of collapse, and that we are being led by a madman bent on world destruction. It's nutty.
Are they broadcasting the same shit sandwich that we are seeing in the US, or are there “international” panelists who spew the same shit sandwich in a different wrapper?

No politician has ever had a more appropriate name than Flake.

I wonder what the small print on the back of the press pass says and what the press has to sign to get one.  Every company ID card I've had says something like "This card is property of X Company and can be revoked or suspended at any time for any reason."  The form I signed to get the pass said the same thing.  I would be surprised if a White House Press Pass didn't have similar wording.
I secured a West Wing your for myself, my wife, and my daughter in June 2004. The same week that Reagan died. We dressed up. I had a suit on. The tour began around 8:00 pm because it only happens when business is done.  I don’t recall the wording on the back of our pass, if any, but the message from the SS was loud and clear.  Don’t fuck around. The tour was conducted by an energetic young WH staffer to Dick Cheney, and took over 2 hours. After we left every section, the SS shut things down behind us.

I’m fairly certain the Secret Service doesn’t need to answer to the press about who’s credentials are pulled.

I think this was an awesome move by the way.

Tucker is friggin awesome. Unlike Hannity, he doesn’t talk over guests unless they are trying to monopolize the conversation. He lets guests hang themselves if they are way out in far left field. Great interviewer. He’s the only person I watch on Fox anymore.

I haven't watched all the videos, but from what I've seen, he uses only hand tools for the entire build.
Not familiar with the 1972 movie, huh?

Get off my lawn!

Domestic violence is a resume enhancer for Democrats. This puts him as a lock for the 2020 nomination.  Well, he may have some competition from another domestic violence perp, MN Attorney General-elect.

One has to wonder.....

If these volunteers had prepared meals to be served to illegals seeking refuge in the state, would we see the same results?

This had nothing to do with the food. I guarantee it was an effort to shut down faith-based and other groups helping the needy vs the benevolent dictatorship of government.

Where would liberals be if people solved the homeless hunger problem without government intereference?
Bingo.

That's kind of what I was getting at.  A Navion, even if it didn't serve, in an original service paint job does pay homage to its role in the service.  That's cool.  But one painted Navy blue with stars and bars and a big MARINES on the side was never done.  That's where it feels a bit off.  And someone dressing a P51 like Nascar should be flogged.
I’m familiar with that one. It’s been on the market for a while.

My concern is that younger people who have only known what it is like to have a Smart Phone, and computer depend solely on them and the access to the internet for the basics that we all just had to KNOW.  Also, if they get their gratification from this technology when are the going outside and experiencing the real world, instead of the virtual world.  It is a shame than many don't take advantage of the adventure, challenges, learning experiences and the beauty the world offers.
My daughter is a dairy veterinarian and when she was in vet school and traveling for externships I would get her AAA maps, etc.  at one point she sent me a meme that said “Relax, Indiana Jones.  I’ve got Google.”

EDIT:  I did rub off.  When she’s driving to farms that even Google doesn’t know about, she’s been having to use these detailed County plat books to find them. And finally, after years of training, she has a good sense of north, South, east and West!

Agreed that that technology can lead to both great and bad things.

I think we should all go build a cabin in the woods.
By the way, I look forward to watching that video tonight. Hell, even Jeremiah Johnson had a squaw to help him with the build.

Make it a hangar in the woods and I’m there.

Unless/until those laws are broken, challenged, and escalated to SCOTUS, the defendant will LOSE in every case. Heller v DC is the gold standard of defense for the 2nd A and here's a snippet at the end of the ruling: "Nothing in our opinion should be taken to cast doubt on longstanding prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions on the commercial sale of arms."

So, the SCOTUS just carved out a HUGE loophole in the 2nd A allowing lesser govts to stand with their laws and regulations until each one is tested at the fed level. It's estimated that the cost of the Heller decision was about $3.6 million and it took more than 5 years. The court was divided by 5-4, and could easily have gone the other way. While the current court is in no danger of overturning Heller, the forces of gun control took careful note of the arguments, and the limitations of the ruling. Modern laws on gun control have been carefully designed to work their way around Heller. In the case of WA it sounds exactly like they are 'permitting' the individual to keep and bear, but that the 'bear' is being restricted by the various trigger lock, unloading, locked cabinet, etc.

Each and every one of these cases will have to go through state appeals, then the fed circuit, and finally to the SCOTUS. If you live in a circuit with a liberal court, even if you have the money, it will likely get rejected from cert to SCOTUS, and the circuit court ruling against the defendant will stand.

Sorry.
You’re right, and subordinate courts have already ruled in cases that go against the ruling in Heller. Democrats will continue to overplay their hand here, and there should be more cases in the future going to SCOTUS. All the more reason to maintain the Senate and get Trump elected for a second term.

I cringed when I read Scalia’s otherwise insightful opinion in Heller precisely for this reason.
