My wife likes to shop.  I like to buy.  I go in, do the most efficient route through the isles to get what's on the list, and go to the self check so I don't have to talk to anyone.  My wife likes to shop: explore every isle, see what's on sale, chat with people, interact with the sales person.  She knows to plant me in a chair somewhere so she can shop in peace.

Same. She knows I get what's needed and leave. She knows better to text me 20 minutes after I left because I'm already checking out or driving away, yet she does it anyway.

We host every year. Maybe 15 this year. Turkey, ham and all the sides. My wife is in her "stay the hell out of my way" cleaning mode so I'm just sitting quietly drinking my boozed up coffee.
