Interesting that they put out the notice during his nap time.  Imagine his reaction when he finds out!

Also agree on all points. I had one of each CFI, well actually two old fart CFIs and one young one. The old farts totally knew their stuff. The young one pushed the envelope (too much actually) but in doing so I learned so much that I otherwise wouldn’t have. He had incredible stick and rudder skills but suffered from what a lot of young whippersnappers suffer from: thinking they are immortal and that they can bend the rules.
Cool difference between young bucks who think they are immortal and can bend the rules, and old farts that actually ARE immortal and can bend the rules.  The difference is that the old farts know which rules can be bent and which can't.

But we know now that those “secret service agents” were not in fact Trump’s regular well trained team, but a hodgepodge of fill-ins pulled from sundry local stations. The only thing I will credit them for are the ones who piled on top of Trump and surrounded him to the car, yes, even the female three stooges. They didn’t run; they kept themselves between Trump and a shooter or shooters, a threat they couldn’t be sure had been eliminated. Give credit where credit is due.
Agreed.  They were not the best for the job, and were not well trained for the task at hand.  But they did step up and put themselves in harms way.  Credit to the agents themselves for putting their lives at risk to protect another.  NO credit but condemnation for their boss putting an untrained agent in that position.

The democrats are going into a tizzy saying that Trump promised unity but then went on the attack.  I must have watched a different acceptance speech.  It was full of ideas and hope and promise for the future.  He didn't demonize half the population as deplorables and racists and hicks.  But he did call out the worst of the worst individuals for how they are destroying the country.  Like Drunk Nancy, etc.  That IS unity calling out the scum people who are truly destroying us coming together as a nation.

The closest I can get is Terry Coats. Really nice guy who gave me a BFR once.  He  retired from Wisconsin to Florida, but he no longer appears in the FAA Airman Registry.  Sorry I can't help.

My thoughts too. He’ll spend two weeks enjoying his beach house (with the $500+K taxpayer funded wall) and by then Kamala will be ready to run and Joe bows out, maybe washed out to sea! 😂
Obama will invite him to his mansion to do some paddleboarding.

I heard from the talking heads this morning that the FJB team is working to get him nominated before the convention so it will be VERY hard for anyone to remove him.

FJB is on the way out, it's just a matter of time now.
This covid case is indeed very convenient.  He didn't have it when he gave his speech nor when he surrounded himself with crowds in a restaurant.  But he did have it right after.  He must have known... so why did he purposely infect others with covid?  Doesn't he know that it's the most contagious and deadly disease known? And not wearing a mask is grounds to fire him immediately.  Of course that's why he had to isolate himself for the next two weeks.

I believe this as much as I believe the USSS / FBI / CIA.  The wheels are off the short bus.

It’s kind of similar to how we got our first, except it was alcohol on New Year’s Eve, and we didn’t forget, the little swimmer defeated it.
The math is pretty amazing.  A 1% failure rate means that after 50 tries, you can expect an overall failure rate of 40%.  After 100 tries you're at 65% overall failure rate.  That right there prompted me to get the snip.
Two old ladies were outside their nursing home, having a smoke when it started to rain. One of the ladies pulled out a condom, cut off the end, put it over her cigarette and continued smoking.

Lady 1: "What's that?"

Lady 2: "A condom. This way my cigarette doesn't get wet."

Lady 1: "Where did you get it?"

Lady 2: "You can get them at any drugstore."

The next day ... Lady 1 hobbles herself into the local drugstore and announces to the pharmacist that she wants a box of condoms. The guy looks at her kind of strangely (she is, after all, over 80 years of age), but politely asks what brand she prefers.

Lady 1: "It doesn't matter as long as it fits a Camel."

The machine is in chaos. Nobody knows what’s going to happen. They’re panicking and fighting amongst themselves about what to do.
This reminds me of the last months of the Third Reich.  Everyone knew Hitler was sick and nuts, but didn't dare go against the Machine.  Everyone panicking, fighting, conflicting stories about how fit he was, yet anyone with eyes could see the orders, countermanded orders, orders to units that didn't exist, and on and on.  Surrounded by the vastly more powerful Allies... the writing was clearly on the wall.  But loyalty, the threat of what would happen if they defected kept them in line.  I imagine the same thing is going on in FJB's cabinet.  Anyone who dares to suggest that he surrender to the inevitable will be out.  Way out.  Check out "Downfall" and you'll see what I mean.

Just a couple seconds of googling found that President Trump DID concede the election.  As reported by CNN on January 7.  No, he did not concede the election the day after the election, but votes were still being counted.  And neither did Hillary, Gore, or other democrat losers.  How quickly did the concede have to come for it to be counted?
President Donald Trump conceded publicly for the first time Thursday that he will not serve a second term, stopping short of congratulating President-elect Joe Biden but acknowledging a transfer of power is now underway.

I’m about to say something “sexist”.  I’m sick of these lunatic girl bosses. I want a MAN in the White House and Joe Biden doesn’t qualify.
We need a strong, dynamic, articulate, leader.  I don't much care male or female, but people who fall into that description tend to be male.  I, too am sick of the scheming, sneaky, stab you in the back when you're not looking "leaders".  Trump is a leader.  Thacher was a leader.  Bush I, Reagan, Teddy Roosevelt were leaders.  FJB, Bootyjugs, Hillary, Bill Clinton, Bush II, Obama, and the current crop of pussified male congress critters are not.

This site has several well informed, very intelligent, and I dare say probably very attractive contributors.  What is not well tolerated is an opinion that cannot be defended.  On the Right, but more often on the Left, a statement is made and many times is countered with facts and well-reasoned arguments.  Sometimes strongly worded, and rarely with some implication of the breeding habits of the poster, but never with a demand that such an opinion is not welcome here.  Weaker posters tend to leave.  Stronger posters defend their position.  I welcome contrary positions and I'm very willing to change my opinions if there's a good reason to do so.

This is very unlike the more leftist boards.  There you're met with personal attacks and bans and censorship.  Rarely with a counter-argument.  I do visit those sites, but quickly become disgusted by the mental health of the general population there.

I keep hearing that TRUMP LIES!  He does exaggerate, stretch the truth a bit, and speaks too quickly sometimes.  But none of these are really substantial, what I would call lies.  What the media calls out as lies are usually sound bites taken out of context or really are the truth if one does just a bit of research.

Here's an example from AP.  If you look at the videos, what Trump said is actually true.  So... what does Trump lie about?
TRUMP: “They talk about a relatively small number of people that went to the Capitol and in many cases were ushered in by the police.”

THE FACTS: That’s false. The attack on the U.S. Capitol was the deadliest assault on the seat of American power in over 200 years. As thoroughly documented by video, photographs and people who were there, thousands of people descended on Capitol Hill in what became a brutal scene of hand-to-hand combat with police.
No.  No police died as a direct result of the mostly peaceful protest.  Four people died, all protesters.  Two of heart failure, one trampled, and one being shot by the police.  And if you look at the videos, protesters stayed behind the velvet ropes, and were chatting with the police who opened doors for them.

It's the democrat way around democracy.  Have the debate they knew FJB would lose after the primaries but before the convention.  Isn't that convenient?  The DNC knows far better than democrat people who their candidate should be.  This was planned, and a setup to get rid of FJB and get their own choice in the race. Who it will be is anyone's guess.
