My son asked me what it’s like to be a parent…
So, I woke him up at 2 am to tell him my sock came off.

• When I lost the fingers on my right hand in a freak accident, I asked the doctor if I would still be able to write with it.  He said, “Probably, but I wouldn’t count on it.”

• Anyone who says their wedding was the best day of their life has clearly never had two candy bars fall down at once from a vending machine.

• We live in a time where intelligent people are silenced so that stupid people won’t be offended.

• After watching how some people wore their masks I understand why contraception fails.

• For those of you who don’t want Alexa or Siri listening in on your conversation, they are making a male version….it doesn’t listen to anything.

• Threw out my back sleeping, and tweaked my neck sneezing so I’m probably just one strong fart away from complete paralysis.

• Some of my friends exercise every day. Meanwhile I am watching a show I don’t like because the remote fell on the floor.

• It’s weird being the same age as old people.

• We celebrated last night with a couple of adult beverages … Metamucil and Ensure.

• You know you’re over 50 when you have ‘upstairs ibuprofen’ and ‘downstairs ibuprofen’.

• How did doctors come to the conclusion that exercise prolongs life, when

…the rabbit is always jumping but only lives for around two year, and

…the turtle that doesn’t exercise at all, lives over 200 years.

• I woke up this morning determined to drink less, eat right, and exercise.  But that was four hours ago when I was younger and full of hope.

• You know you are getting old when friends with benefits means having someone who can drive at night.

Spin Zone / Some good election news

We worked hard on a campaign for Port Commissioner and our candidate just won! The Port runs the airport and was running it into the ground with woke, stupid decisions. They stopped helping host events at the airport to bring life to it. They balked at everything good in aviation.  They ran the Port into big debt. They fell for green energy grifting companies that later disappeared. They turned away a turbine repair company because it would be too noisy! Idiots and woke narcissists all, from the manager to two of the commissioners on the three-person board.

But a few years ago we also campaigned for that third commissioner and she won! But she kept pretty quiet until we could get our guy on there. Now we have an aviation majority!

We’re pretty thrilled. I bet the Port manager is getting her resume together. She’ll never survive with all that real energy and capability on the commission. The coolest thing is that the guy who just won tonight was the Port manager for 17 years and the current creeps forced him out. He retired, and now can visit karma on them all.

A Russian Jew named Jacob was finally allowed to emigrate to Israel.

At the Moscow airport, a customs inspector found a statue of Lenin in his luggage.  "What is this?"

Jacob replied, "Wrong question, comrade.  You should have asked 'Who is this?'  This is Comrade Lenin.  He laid the foundations of Socialism and created the future prosperity of the Russian people.  I am taking it with me as a memory of our dear hero."

The Russian customs official sent him on his way.

At Tel Aviv airport, the Israeli customs official also asked "What is this?"

"Wrong question, sir.  You should be asking 'Who is this?'  This, my friend, is Lenin, the bastard who caused me, a Jew, to leave Russia.  I take this statue as a reminder to curse him every day."

The Israeli official sent him on his way.

When he settled in his new home, Jacob placed the statue on a table.  The following evening, he invited friends and relatives to dinner.

Spotting the statue, one of his cousins asked, "Who is this?"

Jacob replied, "Wrong question.  You should have asked 'What is this?' This is five kilograms of solid gold that I managed to bring with me without having to pay any customs duty or tax."

The Moral:

"Politics is when you can tell the same crap in different ways to fool different people and come out smelling like a rose."

At this point RDS is shrinking, and Vivek is rising.

This presents a larger problem to the establishment as the top two candidates are non establishment types.

Look for an all out attack on Vivek at the Faux debate.
I sure wish we could have RR back.

Let’s take RFKJr as an example.  I’m going to guess Michael would not vote for him because he is “anti-vax”.  And he might assume I would vote for him because he is “ant-vax”.  Anti- vax is in quotes because RFKJr is not anti-vax, his problem is the vaccines aren’t tested enough and we are giving far too many unnecessary ones, and this may be having long term negative effects that are being blocked from being studied/acknowledged by the profit motive.

But that would be a wrong assumption. (The assumption that I like RFKJr because he is supposedly anti-vax.)  That is incorrect.  What I like about RFKJr’s anti-vax stance is that he is against forced vaccination.  It is his position on the role of government in vaccination, not his position on the science about vaccines, that I like.

If RFKJr were to favor using power of government to ban vaccines, I would be equally against that as I am against mandating vaccines.  I want to be free to get the polio vaccine, the smallpox vaccine, and even the Covid vax if I so desire.

It’s not about the vax.  I don’t even buy that the clot shot actually causes clots.  I’m waiting for rational studies instead of a lot of anecdotal stories.  For me it’s all about government and it’s role in regulating my liberty.

Not my photo, but a lefty posted this on a forum.  99% of the responses were pro-freedom. She or the EAA finally shut it down.
