And this morning while others news was talking about the terrorist bombing in NYC, CNN's top story was how many sodas Trump drinks in a day.

What the fuck?  Leader of the free world and he feels the need to tweet about how he perceives being investigated as a witch hunt.  It's like he's in jr. high.  He's an embarrassment to our nation on the world stage.

I might agree with you,
if he wasn't right.  But it IS a witch hunt.

I do have some problems with Trump.  I didn't like the way he insulted fellow Nato countries and refused to endorse the mutual defense provision.  But I liked the rest of his speech.

But for the most part, the Democrats keep making up lies and spreading innuendo based on anonymous reports and demand investigations based on nothing other than the volume of their accusations.

Even Democrats agree that the main thing holding back economic growth is the need for tax reform, yet they do nothing to help.  They impede Trump at every turn and prevent him from accomplishing anything while he has to react to their frivolous complaints.  And those complaints wouldn't really be a problem either if it weren't for the media's obsession with all things anti-Trump, and encouraging the average citizen to think he is a moron.

The government likes to keep you frightened.  The media likes it too, sells cars and breakfast cereals.  Fact of the matter is you are far more lily to die of a plethora of mundane causes than be harmed by a terrorist. I say this having had a terrorist attack at my home institution.  Freedom is more important than security.

Because the government winds up paying for it in the end.  Like I said, when the pain gets bad enough or when they find you unconscious on the floor you wind up in the ER.  If you haven't the cash government pays.  Since they're paying anyway says me they should be able to stipulate the how and why.  ER can't turn anyone away.

No, the government doesn't pay for it.  WE PAY FOR IT.  The government does not create any wealth, it only takes wealth, but I agree we need to manage care for those that can not pay for it in a more efficient manner.  The ACA does NOT do that. 

In fairness, that's because the government has been monkeying with health insurance for years.  Thank Ted Kennedy for the HMO legislation.
