I guess I’ll find out.  I’ve been selected!  It’s a horrible case.  Not gonna be fun like my murder case back in the day.  I hope to God it’s over with this week. They sent us home early because the schools are letting out because of high wind and weather.  My hip did act up a bit from all the sitting this morning but it was on a bench. The jury box chairs are a bit more cushioned.  The actual trial will start in the morning. Today it was all selection questioning.

It's somewhat late now, but think long and hard about if you'll be able to tolerate sitting there.

The one and only time I was on a jury (many many moons ago), the judge was really quite unhappy when one person indicated a problem with being able to be there every day.  Sixteen people were impaneled, the process was to downselect to the 12 when the cases when to jury, the other 4 would hang out as alternates.  Well, on day 1 we lost one jurist.  As I said, the judge was not a happy camper.

But, you have a reasonable excuse... especially after the day of questioning, it can give you an idea of your tolerance.
