The problem I see with them is that they still can't produce understanding. Broad cannot make up for the lack of depth, even Grok.

Well, here we are 5 days later and I'm in the same place.
1 Sam 15:3 - "Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys." I've been hearing that idea referred to a lot on twitter over the past week - to the last camel and donkey.
May God curse Hamas and all those that support them for seven times seven times seven generations.

Matt Gaetz is a loose cannon and is taking the Republican party down. It feels like a win for many now until it drags out for weeks trying to get agreement on a new speaker.

Never going to happen because they can't afford to get rid of her. A new VP requires a majority vote of both houses of Congress. Republicans don't want a new VP, because that means ties in the Senate don't get broken and without a majority vote, nothing moves that they don't agree to.
Also - technically, Republicans control the Senate right now 50-49 until the new CA senator is appointed and sworn in. But they won't do anything about that.

The Democrats claim the charges are not serious enough to warrant an investigation. That should say it all. But just to reiterate, these charges are practically the definition of the constitutional meaning of "high crimes and misdemeanors", which was the phrase used for abuse of power by public officials.
Nobody wants Harris as president, not even Democrats. But they can't remove her because they can't replace her. They probably could not get a majority vote through either house, let alone both. Remember, without a VP, there is no tie breaker vote in the Senate and therefore no majority there either. So, now they're stuck defending indefensible charges.
