I don't trust CNN, Fox, NBC... Ironically, Al Jazeera seems to be one of the most neutral fact gathering news agencies out there, behind the BBC.

Or perhaps he is giving them rope.  He was right when he said that downing an unmanned drone doesn't warrant an attack that his generals told him will kill ~150 people.  But if they make another, even more aggressive move, then he will have sufficient motivation to order a crippling attack.  IMNSHO.

Funny thing is, if he had gone on with the attack, the same people that are criticizing him now would still be criticizing him.  And you KNOW that is true.

I can't say that I am in full support of Trump, but this is one thing I think he handled well.

Pilot Zone / Re: Something to consider...

You know, I consider driving and flying separate. First of all, I hate the fact that the government has to have its hands on my car. I get why they do, and understand the reasoning, but I still don't like it. I have never, and will never, fly an airplane drunk. Period. I don't think I can. If I play MS Flight Simulator and have a couple, I start crashing. Not cool.

But, I drove... unlegally toxicated all of my adult life and most of my teenage life. I didn't grow up much in the States, so don't get too moral on me. When I'm in Southeast Asia, everyone on the road is fucked up after five, including me, and here is where it is different...

You are held accountable on your actions, not some abstract blood alcohol number.

That's right, if you cause an accident, you are held accountable. If you kill someone, you are held accountable. If you can drive fucked up and not cause a problem, they couldn't care less.

That's how the States used to be, back in the day when I grew up. Or at least how I remember it. Now we live in a goddamned police state.

Sac, how's that girl at the gym?  You know they one on the elliptical.

:)

That narrows it down...

Well they are all good, I guess. Except Pool Girl. She is not good. She went in for a breast cancer biopsy this morning. Send some good thoughts out there for Pool Girl.

Agreed.  However, I view AOC as "unqualified", and not very bright.  I viewed Obama as somewhat intelligent, at least on the outside, but also unqualified, but not in the same way as AOC.  The Democrats want "qualified" far leftists now.  Meaning they can articulate and sell the Progressive Agenda in a manner that many Americans can justify, and rationalize.  It's the used car salesman routine.  Obama did it well.  You buy the car because the salesman sold your EMOTIONS.  When you get home with it you realize it is a huge Lemon.  Like Obamacare.

She and those like her have this idealistic view that a pure Marxist society is how government should be, not acknowledging (or even realizing) that no country to date has been able to pull it off. It is not sustainable. Her views on economics are akin to Flat Earth Society members' views on geography.

Just fly the magenta oval.

The Zon is pretty crooked when it comes to manipulating author sales ranks. And by the way, they stiffed me out of $6K of royalties.

Thanks all. For those that don't know me, I'm primarily Blue and Purple. Blue not so much these days. Sigh.
