I don't think it's a defensible mod action.

I actually thought Peter was permanently banned from PoA. Maybe the mods did too, and they kicked baby and bathwater out at the same time?

I suspect the beechtalk post will be short-lived too, but that's a for-profit site so they would allow it for the $75/mo friendship fee.

I can't see having a DPE public opinion page on the net provided by the FAA as being useful.   

It would help me avoid dealing with and paying a d-bag DPE?

Is there an internal FAA system that collects public opinion about ASIs also? I would find that incredibly useful also, as a member of the public.
