Her dad told her to pick them up and put them away properly. She sassed him and said she didn’t want to. So he picked them up, opened the front door, and threw them out into the snow.
The crying and wailing as she had to run out barefoot into the snow to retrieve her “favorite” shoes. The lesson was learned and she never forgot. Father-in-the-home discipline. Gotta have it.
