Spin Zone / Re: Limbaugh: We're Watching the Democrat Party Commit Suicide

This is a party that is self-destructing.

Now he claims he is not in that picture. That must mean the other person and whoever took the picture are dead and thus can not verify he was in the picture.
So the photographer knew Hillary Clinton?  ;)

I find it sad and pathetic that the push for this guy’s resignation is coming from a decades old yearbook picture, and not of his endorsement of a law permitting infanticide.

This is what my country has become.

Spin Zone / Re: Reporter gets PTSD because he fired an AR-15
« on: February 02, 2019, 09:29:32 AM »
I love this kid!  Okay so in fairness, I looked up the reporter's side of the story (link below the video).  Because I like to look at both sides, I understand what he went through.  The first time I went to the range after I decided to buy a gun, it scared me. It's a loud bang. Humans have a startle instinct. But you quickly get used to it. For me it only took an hour or so before I was actually enjoying the bang.  But, PTSD???

That’s an old story. I think the guy was just trying to get his 15 minutes of pajama boy attention.  He tried to project the experience as being something that no shooter would ever experience, in pursuit of getting people not to try it. ARs have virtually no recoil for example. But not according to this article.  I think he said it was like a bazooka. Not sure how he knows what shooting a bazooka is like.

Shouldn’t that be every CITIZEN counts? How is the census integrity helped by not knowing how many CITIZENS our country has?

I think I said that in this thread or somewhere else. Becky, we are in a war for America. I’m very, very worrieda out our country.  Camala Harris is the enemy of America.

Spin Zone / Re: Where is RBG?
« on: January 31, 2019, 02:47:16 PM »
Because I'm not embedded in right wing culture.  I've gotten comments from friends on the left who think that republicans are salivating over the prospect of RBG dying quickly, exactly over comments like the ones that opened this thread.  It isn't my perception.  When you're in the middle of it all, it's easy to miss how you're being perceived.  Republicans do not come across well when they talk about RGB dying.

I call it like I see it.  You're free to disagree.  The only reasons I can think of for this thread are ignorance or malice.  I would like to assume ignorance, but the opportunity to answer that has been dodged twice, I suspect because of ego.

I'm open to hearing a different reason.
Your really are insufferably petulant today.

We all greatly appreciate your advice to republicans, and when we have our Pilot Spin Conservative Action Committee Convention will take it under advisement.

In the mean time, you may not want to take what your lefty friends are saying at face value, because of what they are ALLEGEDLY hearing. The MSM are the masters of PROJECTION, and they project what they think republicans/conservatives/Christians/whites are thinking or doing with ZERO PROOF WHATSOEVER. They do it every day, they do it over and over and over and over and over, so that it becomes such an alleged truth that a conservative et. al. has to open up their argument by refuting what is being said about them, and are called a liar for doing so.

The left is INSIDIOUS about this. They know that a lie told often enough eventually becomes the truth , and when they own the mouthpieces to tell it, they own the argument.

And you in your ignorance or malice perpetuate such lies by repeating what your lying lefty friends tell you. So which is it?  Are you just ignorant, or are you malicious?

Hey, I am offering an opinion from the middle on how conservatives are looking like vultures, hoping RGB dies soon.

If you’re not interested in hearing that, then let me suggest that Democrats and the media are going to take conservatives over the coals.

Contrary to what one ass here claims, this is not about virtue. Right now I prefer what Republicans are doing, but with regards to RGB, you are screwing it up. Is it critical?  No, the world isn’t going to end but do try to maintain enough decorum not to cheer when she dies. You come across just as hateful as the leftists do and in case you were counting, that isn’t a good thing.
You see a vastly different world than I see.

I never see conservatives rejoice in a political figure’s death. We just don’t do that. That is in stark contrast to the ghoulishness of the left’s disciples who on social media actively wish a painful death upon anyone who is Christian, conservative, or white. You see it, and if you don’t, you aren’t looking.

Further, spare me about “take conservatives over the coals.”  That is done daily - hourly - by the MSM.  God forbid a teenager wear a MAGA hat. That hat triggers the most vile, frothing, false and fraudulent narrative not just by their disciples, but by their mouthpieces in the media and the the politicians that they worship.

The MAGA term is now deemed the literal equivalent of a Nazi or a Klan member, and anyone wearing one is literally open season to the virtue signaling social justice warriors who justify their hate, and VIOLENCE, against MAGA wearers as trying to eradicate Naziism and the KKK from the earth.

I'm surprised I actually know what RBF means without having to google it.
Ha. My 31 yr old daughter told me about that last year. Yea, I’m hip. Haha.

We need to STOP appeasing the snowflake social justice warriors who have hurt feelings or thinks things are inappropriate. Fuck them. The fact that this SJW thinks that is things said by white supremacists is on HIM, not on the baker.

Same here. I want to vomit when I think of how much we paid in taxes over our marriage, and now being forced into early retirement, I am LIVID that we don't have everything WE worked for all our lives.
Yep. Besides income taxes, look at the government (fed and state) take on a gallon of gas. It is massively larger than the cut earned by the retailer, or the manufacturer. It is a sin.

Did Eppy's granddaughter compare the Republicans and Trump to Nazi's?  I skimmed the blog, but must have missed it.  Yes it was well written, she's a smart, but misguided kid politically.  But, many younger people have been indoctrinated by public, and private schools, then universities.  Sad.
Yes misguided, no doubt. But for a young person to travel to places and learn some history, and write about it, is an awesome start. Given the number of public school victims out there that know nothing about WWII or the Holocaust, kudos to her.

Different situations.  People in government jobs know this is going to happen occasionally.  They always used to say they took government jobs because of the superior benefits, even if the pay was lower than the market.  But these days, they get better wages AND better benefits, with job protections you will never be able to give your employees.

I have a little sympathy for the newer, younger employees that haven't had time to save a paycheck or two, but that is all.

All the furloughed employees I know are either enjoying the time off, or moonlighting, picking up a little extra cash to hold them over till they get their big back-pay checks.

Its not like a private employer, such as your company, that would only ask such from their employees if there was a danger of them going under.  Government employees know their secure jobs will be there when this is over.

And if you still disagree with me, then blame the Democrats that voted down a Republican motion to pay employees even while the government was shut down.  The MSM didn't mention that much.

Slight correction. It is I illegal for a private employer to not pay their employees if they hit hard times. A private employer would be forced to fire or lay off employees. FedGov employees don’t have the fear that they will be fired. Big difference.

I did see a Gay Pilots Association booth at the NBAA convention in Las Vegas in 2017. I figured it was for drone pilots.

Yes, really.  His base...and I presume that includes you...is really fired up by it, but everyone else's reaction varies from embarrassed to disappointed to outright enraged.   He really is in trouble.

Yes, it is.  He won three rust belt states by a combined total of less than 500,000 votes.  That is the margin, an average of 167,000 votes each in three Democrat leading states with a poor Democrat turnout.  Take those away and Hillary wins.  That is barely winning.

Today the Left is far more energized now than they were when they thought Hillary was going to win.  You think he can win those three states again, not that Democrats are reminded that they can lose them?  Trump is a one term president unless the Democrats can put someone worse than Hillary up and I just don't think they have it in them.

Republicans are being blind about it.
I presume you also buy into the 24/7 narrative that a MAGA hat is the equivalent of a white hood, and is representative of racialism and oppression, and whatever the triggered opinion makers are saying.

George Bush NEVER fought back. Those they hated him gave him no quarter for it. None. They eviscerated him at every turn.

This is about power, not personality, and those not in power will find fault with literally every breath Trump takes.

Nothing - not a single thing - that
Trump can do or stop doing will prevent triggered snowflakes from feeling “embarrassed to disappointed to outright enraged.”

Look at the shit that the Catholic School boys are taking because some wore MAGA hats and you will see the entire problem. It’s not Trump’s tweets, it’s Trump’s existence that they despise and wish would end.

I wish I could be wrong, but you have to consider - he just barely beat Clinton, as bad as she was.  He hasn't gotten more popular and he has killed himself with his twitter account.
He has?  Really.  I guess he needs to sit down, shut the fuck up, and comply.
