Spin Zone / Re: Trump is done
« on: October 08, 2016, 08:07:53 PM »
Dr Ben Carson had this to say:

The recent disclosure of lewd conversations Donald Trump had over a decade ago has caused some disillusionment among GOP stalwarts and conservative voters. In no way do I condone Trump's behavior - in fact I condemn any form of disrespect towards women.

We should always honor and respect the dignity of our mothers, sisters and daughters. Even though the incident happened ten years ago, well before Trump entered the political arena, this behavior is unacceptable, especially by someone who aspires to higher office. Trump did the right thing in immediately and unequivocally apologizing.

I feel fairly certain that the progressives have had knowledge of this conversation for a long time and dropped it at this point in time in an effort to obscure the release of damaging information about Hillary Clinton and her desire for open borders. I believe that they have more material that they will release periodically up until the election to keep a negative focus on Donald Trump. They do not want to discuss the vital issues that are destroying our nation and the future of our children, because they do not have logical solutions and offer more of the same that has gotten us into this precarious situation.

Those of us who do not want to see America fundamentally devolve into something worse must be wise enough to recognize the scheme that is being played out here. We must demand not only that the issues be discussed but also that we make our decisions based on issues and not on personalities or decade old statements and behavior by Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.

The political elites and their loyal media are desperate because they are seeing the large enthusiastic crowds for Donald Trump and the meager crowds for Hillary Clinton, and they know that there will be a huge enthusiasm gap on election day.

The question is: will the political elites of both parties succeed in continuing their reign of fiscal irresponsibility and military weakness or will the people understand what is going on and will they be wise enough to thwart those efforts?

Damn the Democrats are good at this dirty politics stuff.  They've got the GOP imploding even more, thirty days before the election.  Even Pence is abandoning Trump to a large extent.  Wow.  They know just the right buttons to push to get the lilly livered Republicans to cave.  Unreal.

I listened to that whole thing.  If males DON'T behave like that the human species is done for.  This is entirely 100% normal male homo sapiens sapiens behavior. Trump has nothing to apologize for. Any males shocked are liars or have been so weakened by all the soy in our food supply or other sources of osmotic estrogen dosing (feminism in the media, trying to date today's entitlement brats of young females) that they truly believe this horseshit that men should not talk this way about women.  If anything is natural and evolutionary, this male behavior is. All Trump proved here is he is a virile male, or at least talks like one.

Any females shocked at this are either so young that they've swallowed hook line and sinker today's politically correct climate that all males are pedophiles and potential rapists, or are aged feminists who would like the male gender to be reduced to hobbled sperm donors and bank accounts, nothing more.  Anything hinting of testosterone is contemptible.  THAT is what the reaction to this video is proving: That this society is so anti-male today with the rotten fruits of bitter feminism and the most anti-nature ideology ever cooked up by man (leftism) that any display of normal male ardor can now be weaponized against any male not approved by the elite leftist machine.

Some pretty heft email shit starting to hit now on Hillary.

Yep.  Interesting this tape from 11 years ago "surfaces" on the same day as these emails came out.  This tells me that camp Clinton knows there is some real nasty email stuff getting ready to hit.

The way Kaine kept interrupting Pence right from the start was one of the rudest, nastiest excuses for "debating" I have ever had the mispleasure of seeing. That guy is a piece of shit.

Yes, I am rather dissapointed too. Every time that stupid General opens his mouth I think he is getting fired.  He would not have lasted 5 minutes acting like that if he worked under me.

No doubt, they must really be worried that Hillary can't pull it off.

The "coronation" is not going as planned.

Keep in mind what on 9/11, Mrs Clinton was attended to by Dr Lisa Bardack.  Before getting into the limo, she administered a "finger squeeze" test...for pneumonia?  Finger squeeze is a neurological test, to see how well a person's nervous system is functioning.

And the "pull my finger" test is to see how well a person's digestive system is functioning.

When the UN actually does something about Muslim slave trading, Muslim sex slave trading and Muslim child sex slave trading, come back and talk to me. Because the UN is run by representatives of some of the most egregious human rights violators they say nothing about the real problem of slavery because some Muslim might get his under pants in a twist.

And they were off by a few thousand years.

That was the second "45" I bought as a kid; the first was "Sweet Caroline." Little known piece of YOLT trivia.

I think the first 45 I bought was Three Dog Night, "Mama told me not to come".

Now my .45's are all made by COLT.  :)

God made man.  Colonel Colt made them equal.

Maybe not, but it says more about the person than you realize.

If it were not so, good lawyers wouldn't bother dressing gangbangers up in a suit for the courtroom.

Spin Zone / Re: Dead People Voting
« on: September 26, 2016, 01:44:38 PM »
Courts have established that qualified individuals have a constitutional right to vote. The proposal to "wipe the slate clean" every four years and make people re-register is essentially a mass revocation of that right from many who are known factually to be eligible. I don't see how it would ever survive the scrutiny of the courts.

People who do not vote for long periods of time are often deleted from voter registration roles. When did too lazy to show up and too stupid to register become constitutionally defined obstacles?

Who said "standalone?"  You.  Not me.  I'm for robust AND effortful, because robust requires effort.

Voting is a privilege, really.  I think the Constitution addresses a number of issues relating to voting, but IIRC, it does not call it a right.

There's such a thing as buy-in.  If I have to make an effort to vote, I'm going to care so much about the issues at stake that I am willing to sacrifice time and effort to make my voice heard.  I am going to have prepared myself knowledge-wise so that I understand the issues and have arrived at my decisions with thoughtfulness.

If it is too easy to vote, flipping the lever or making the mark could just be the result of whoever happened to Twitter or headline-glimpse someone into voting based on emotion of the moment, not thought and deliberation.

You can cry "disenfranchisement" all you want, but a country run by thoughtful, prepared voters willing to sacrifice some effort to vote is going to be more likely to create a society and culture more friendly to human flourishing for ALL.
