Spin Zone / Re: Hillary's Latest Attack is Faltering

People seem to forget how Carter establishes the "malaise" as the new normal, and sat in the Oval Office in a sweater telling how America needed to turn down the thermostat and wear a fucking sweater.  That's how defeated America was.
I remember that edict. The public utility I worked for was bound to follow it. We all wore coats and gloves in the office and still caught colds. I also noticed during the Carter years how prices went up weekly. And remember how he said his wife was the only woman he lusted after? The good old days. :'(

This is amazing.

"Barack Obama served two terms.  I ask our black brothers:  Has our condition improved?"

Hillary has stated her support for Australia-type laws.  Trump should have hit her with that.

Couldn't read all the story. Someone better make that shit right.

The same ones who believed they could keep their doctors.
Amen.

Obama said HRC will say anything and do nothing. Wrong. She says anything then does whatever she wants to, as he does.

Sorry, asechrest. Dems are gullible fools with wool over their eyes. After being shat upon by O, they're rolling over so HRC can do the same.

Claim after claim by liberals that no one wants to take our guns.

Who is dumb enough to believe that BS?

The same ones who believed they could keep their doctors.

What makes you think that would happen? All the wailing and gnashing of teeth that occurs on this forum by paranoid conservatives would have you think left wing demoncrats are taking control or already have and the demons are of a single mind on the subject. But here is the reality that would first need to be reversed:

The Supreme Court of the US would need to reverse its District of Columbia v. Heller decision.[1] The SCofUS rarely reverses earlier decisions.

The 44 state constitutions that enumerate a personal right to bear arms would need to also be amended.[2]

Currently the US Senate and House are controlled by the Republicans.

Among the states:
31 states have Republican governors.
18 states have Democratic governors.
1 state has an independent governor.[3]

23 states have Republicans in control of both state houses and the governor's seat (a trifecta.)
7 states have a Democratic trifecta.
20 states have divided control.[4]

Given the above state of affairs, any revolution over attempts to repeal or amend the second amendment is likely many decades away, if ever.

The SCOTUS wouldn't have to necessarily reverse it's opinion, at least not right away. Instead, it'll start with smaller measures. Banning certain types of ammo, beginning to ban certain types of parts for weapons, etc.

With the proliferation of guns in America, I don't think confiscation will ever be a viable option. There are too many guns and too many people with guns for anyone to try and actually take them. Not to mention who's going to do it? Generally speaking the ones who complain the most about guns won't pick one up to defend anything so it won't be them.

Further, it's not "paranoid conservatives" but rather concern based on comments made by leftists, including Clinton herself. What makes you think she won't take steps to begin the process of banning guns? Like I said, it won't start with some huge bill in Congress to outlaw them, it'll start much smaller.

Had that been a Republican bus, the news coverage would be 24/7 with demands of resignations.
If it had been the Trump bus they would have come up with a 20 year old video of DJT saying he liked throwing raw sewage into people's drinking water.

Melania Trump put it best.  If these women really think they have a case, let them take it through the courts and produce the evidence in a court of law.

My core belief is that everyone is better off with the maximum amount of liberty and the minimum amount of government interference. Because I believe that freedom trumps managed democracy, I can clearly say that everything wrong with the American government can be fixed by taking the government's hands off to the maximum possible degree.
Before the trained seals from the left jump up and bullshit about how terrible the world would be without any regulation, I WILL REITERATE.
Everything that is deeply flawed in American government could be fixed by taking the boot of the government off of the throat of the people.
Free markets beget freedom.
Socialism begets serfs.
Free thought begets creativity.
Managed thoughts beget stupidity. (See the current state of American public schooling and colleges).
Free enterprise begets scientific breakthrough and vast jumps in technology. If the government had its way we would all be still driving horse drawn buggies.

No one but the most radical leftists think that Obama "slid a little to the center."

Obama has been the most leftist President in my lifetime.  Even worse than Carter.  Obamacare is a disaster.  Even the Dems are admitting that.  Our foreign policy is a disaster.  Our economy is very weak, and our tax policy sucks.  He has also used identity politics to DIVIDE US, and is bringing in hordes of Hispanics and Muslims to further destabilize our country so even more laws, regulations and controls can be justified, including gun bans.

Reports are the Mason has been targeted a third time now, clearly the message is not getting through.

These threats need to be taken seriously, a Silkworm can sink a Destroyer and seriously damage a Carrier.  The usual gamesmanship of lighting someone up with ranging/targeting radar and then shutting it all down is only played by nation states, rebels like this will actually shoot, and the reaction on the boat will mean life or death for hundreds of sailors.

It is a very dangerous game and the only way to prevent this is to destroy every site that lights the destroyer up, every time - new ROE: target us, boom, 5" shells rain down (cheaper than Tomahawk) - they'll run out of radar sites and operators.

It's amazing to me that this and the about to go HOT no-fly zone over Syria/Russia recalling all citizens away from home are not making more noise in the news.  World is literally falling apart before our eyes and we get wall to wall Gloria Allred with her latest faux-victims parade.
