Spin Zone / DuckingDonald.com

So, Trump is apparently afraid of Megan Kelly, and has withdrawn from the Thursday debate.  What a fucking pussy.  It's just like Hillary who has limited every opportunity to expose herself to questioning.

In a brilliant move, within hours of the announcement Ted Cruz set up a website at DuckingDonald.com.

I think this will benefit Ted Cruz, and hurt Trump. But I don't put it past showman Trump to pull his head out of his ass and claim to make a "deal" with Roger Ails and ultimately show up at the debate in a grand entrance.

Spin Zone / "Shades of Blue" with Ray Liotta - WTF?
« on: January 23, 2016, 10:43:09 AM »
I'm a huge fan of Ray Liotta (big Goodfellas fan too) and was excited to see him in a new cop series called "Shades of Blue."  He plays a bad ass corrupt cop alongside Jennifer Lopez, also a corrupt cop (who I don't really buy in this role, plus she's a terrible actor).

So I saw the first couple of episodes, liked it, and taped the series. Then on this Thursday's episode 3, in the middle of a heated discussion in a hotel room, Liotta goes and KISSES ANOTHER GUY COP. Later they show the other guy showering presumably post-sex.

WHAT THE FUCK?  It was totally unnecessary, didn't add to the story, and was simply gratuitous.  It took a cool cop show and just made it gross.  I don't get it.

Are we at the point where we have to be force fed homosexual behavior in a forced acceptance of it?

Oh.  My.  God.

The pandering is unfuckingbelievable.

And O'Malley apparently never heard of the Second Amendment before:  "I've never met a self-respecting dear hunter that needed an AR-15 to down a deer."

And the ignorant Democratic faithful will eat it up.

I'm really, really getting tired of Donald Trump.

Cruz has hit a couple of home runs tonight, including his well-thought out response to the birther BS.

I just got done reading the June 2015 American Rifleman (yes, I'm behind a few months) and they interviewed Sgt./Maj. Kyle Lamb about this topic.  His endorsement of using the AR is very compelling.

What say you?

(And by the way, I have no idea where topics like this should go.  Maybe we should just have the Spin Zone and Aviation Stuff.)

The Religion of Peace strikes again.

I saw the press conference while on the treadmill at the gym today.  Cudos to the Police Commissioner who wasn't afraid to say this, even though the Mayor was quick to say "this has nothing to do with Islam" crap that politicians spew every time something happens in the name of Islam.

With so many "participated" threads that have disappeared, I feel little need to participate. How sad.

Thanks to Jason for pulling Pilot Spin together, and welcome POA refugees.

This is a sign of things to come. Good thing we signed a treaty with Iran.

Why isn't the launching site a burning pile of debris by now?  This is belligerent and threatening.

Spin Zone / Somalia Bans Christmas - "Has nothing to do with Islam"
« on: December 24, 2015, 07:51:43 AM »
The Religion of Peace once again demonstrates peace and tolerance.

"MOGADISHU (Reuters) - The government of Somalia has issued a ban on Christmas and New Year's celebrations in the Muslim country, saying the festivities "have nothing to do with Islam."

"We warn against celebration of Christmas, which is only for Christians," Sheikh Mohamed Kheyrow, director of Somalia’s ministry of religion, said on state radio. "This is a matter of faith. The Christmas holiday and its drum beatings have nothing to with Islam."

"He said the ministry has sent letters to the police, national security intelligence and officials in the capital Mogadishu instructing them to "prevent Christmas celebrations."

Spin Zone / French vs U.S. Response to Terrorism

Within hours French police were conducting raids on possible accomplices of the Paris attacks.

Within 36 hours Obama can't call this a terrorist attack.

We are totally fucked when the French have bigger balls than the U.S.A.

And then there's this story:

Spin Zone / Poor Misunderstood Black Lives Matter

The poor, misunderstood BLM at Dartmouth:

Dartmouth students lead profane Black Lives Matter protest

Black-clad protesters gathered in front of Dartmouth Hall Thursday night, forming a crowd roughly one hundred fifty strong.

Ostensibly there to denounce the removal of shirts from a display in Collis, Dartmouth’s student center the Black Lives Matter collective began to sing songs and chant their eponymous catchphrase. The band then marched into Baker-Berry Library.

“F*** you, you filthy white f***s!”

“F*** you and your comfort!”

“F*** you, you racist s***!”

These shouted epithets were the first indication that many students had of the coming storm. The sign-wielding, obscenity-shouting protesters proceeded through the usually quiet backwaters of the library. They surged first through first-floor Baker-Berry, then up the stairs to the normally undisturbed floors of the building, before coming back down to the ground floor of Novak Café.

Throngs of protesters converged around fellow students who had not joined in their long march. They confronted students who bore “symbols of oppression” such as “gangster hats” and Beats-brand headphones…

Students who refused to listen to or join their outbursts were shouted down:“Stand the f*** up!” “You filthy racist white piece of s***!” Men and women alike were pushed and shoved by the group.

“If we can’t have it, shut it down!” they cried. Another woman was pinned to a wall by protesters who unleashed their insults, shouting “filthy white b****!” in her face.

In the immediate aftermath of the demonstration, social media was abuzz with comments condemning the protesters for their tactics.

I watched the first debate, and thought Christie won handily.  I could get behind him.

Also the moderators were great.
