But we just saw that three out of four legal scholars agree that Trump's impeachment is totally legitimate. It's a done deal. Case closed.There is no doubt Republicans have a penchant for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, and I’m worried too. But I think McConnell now realizes his success is tied to Trump’s success, and the GOP voter’s wrath against Republicans who fuck this up or abandon Trump will be a bloodbath of epic proportions. So that gives me comfort.
If it goes to trial in the Senate and isn't dismissed out of hand, I'm worried about how it will be spun by the Democrats and MSM (same thing (tm)). The nasty Senate Republicans are getting revenge or something while totally ignoring what's actually said in the Senate trial. The truth will come out, but I'm afraid that it will not spread.

Reportedly, Trudeau, Boris, Marcron, Prince Anne and maybe others were mocking Trump at the NATO summit. My guess is they don't like being held accountable by him for reneging on their PROMISED payments to fund NATO. They are all behind on their payments while the U.S. is paying the lion's share of the bill.
