At the minor league level they keep a pitch clock. It starts at 20 sec. and counts down until the pitcher goes into his wind up.

MLB's biggest problem is the length of the game. My God I flipped back at 2200 Central and it was only the bottom of the 6th!
Batters need to stay in the box; step out of the box (except for follow throughs after a swing) and it should be a called strike.

Maybe the Red Wings? entered the playoffs, and most of the team didn't shave. They took it as an omen, and no one shaved all the way to the end. Then, it seemed to spread to the major leagues, and it became a 'thing' not to shave during the playoffs. Of course, some of the guys seem to take it to a whole new level.I get hockey. They stop shaving when the playoffs start.
Dan Fouts wore a beard for his whole career. He was told when drafted that he had to shave. He didn't. Since he was a player, and his own agent and a QB, they wrote it into his contract. I guess we can blame Dan for the whole beard thing.
As for the Series, I've been pulling for LA to get in, and also for Houston to get in. Now they are both in, I don't know who to pull for. Since Houston would be the underdogs, I guess I'd like to see them win one. They were tight through the first 4 innings, and then they just sort of let it all hang out. Back and forth all night. They need to stay loose, and pick up a game in LA now, which they know is possible.
I just don't understand the Taliban look in anything - MLB, NFL, or even Duck Dynasty.

I wonder if this alleged sealed indictment could be for the confidential informant? If he has the goods on Mueller, this could prevent him from getting bail and testifying before Congress. Mueller was the head of the FBI when this uranium deal went down.

I made a point of looking for surveillance cameras in the hotel, and was stunned by the ones I noticed, not to mention the ones that aren't designed to be visible. You can't tell me that they don't have video proof of exactly what happened in that hallway before, during and after the shooting.
