Spin Zone / Re: Has CNN given up?

To be honest, I was utterly on the fence about this until I saw the guy in his Senate hearing.  The dude in that hearing has no business being on the Supreme Court.  The dude in that hearing has no business being in a courtroom of any sort.  The dude in that hearing was a whiny little shit who deserved nothing more than to be bitchslapped by a big buxom biker chick wearing a Hillary mask and lots of leather.

Like I said, appoint him.  The Blue Wave could use a good push.

So let's go on the record and say the perfesser is a sexual predator.  Let's get some of his past students to make statements about how he sexual abused them in the course of his employment with the university.

Of course the perfesser will deny it, but no matter as it's now "guilty until proven innocent", and we will put the burden of proof on the perfesser to prove he's not guilty.

Then we'll have the university stop him from teaching and place him on administrative duty, say, making sure the teacher's lounge has coffee supplies and the toilet paper rolls are replenished daily.  Also, professional organizations the perfesser is a member of will rescind his membership because he's now labeled a "sexual predator".

And after that, let's drag him in front of the university board where he will be pummeled with accusation after accusation of misconduct.

Think the perfesser will just sit there quiet?  After all, if he speaks up to defend his good name and honor, the board can now claim he doesn't have the temperament to be teaching at the university level.

I wake every morning and smile knowing Felonious Von Pantsuits will never be President.

Perfesser,

Perhaps you should put your class test on a smart phone app, after all, shouldn't you make it more facile for your students?

Invflatspin, a fantastic story, wonderfully told. I have hope now, too, but didn’t before. I hadn’t thought until Rush mentioned it about the military going left and kicking in as a socialism/Dem enforcement arm. Scary!

On election night when Trump won Florida, and the NYT algorithm showed him with a 99% chance of winning, I felt like I could finally breathe again. The world seemed bigger, more full of great possibility. The relief was YUGE!

Little Joe is married to a liberal, so that makes it all more discouraging for him. But even liberals are showing disgust at what their party has become. History show that people and countries don’t change until they become disgusted with themselves. Dems are.

Spin Zone / Re: DiFi alledges Kavanaugh #MeToo, but won't share details

On Point 4 (from The Guardian):

According to the source, Kavanaugh and a male friend had locked her in a room against her will, making her feel threatened, but she was able to get out of the room.  The friend doesn't remember the incident.  Neither does Kavanaugh.  It was never reported or documented.

Is her name Anita Hill?

...before it even arrived.

I’m watching the news and hearing democrats castigating the President for his failure to effectively respond to Hurricane Florence.

One problem with that.

It hasn’t come on shore yet.

The sickness that is the democrat party desperately needs psychiatric intervention.

I vehemently dislike the tax cut because it is regressive and adds 1.5 trillion to the deficit according to the GAO.

Take a walk down to the Economics Dept and talk to a non Progressive economist.  Also check the record Federal Income Tax REVENUE after the tax cuts.  Due to a GROWING economy, more Tax REVENUE is being generated at the lower Tax Rates.  The pie is getting larger, and therefore, so is the government's pieces they take.

Progressives love higher tax RATES as they think this is a way to get government more money.  It often acts as a way to slow the economy which can result in less tax REVENUE.  Focus on tax revenue, not tax rates.

The Feds, and many states have a SPENDING PROBLEM, not a Revenue problem.

Well shit. My favorite shoes are Nikes. I wear them every day. What am I gonna do now?

I have five pairs of sneakers. Two of them are nike and went in the trash today. I sent those assholes a photo of their brand in the garbage bag with yesterdays' leftovers/

Buy New Balance.  That is what I do because they are the only ones that fit my wide flat feet anyway.

Spin Zone / McCain still shitting on conservatives from the grave
« on: August 29, 2018, 07:29:18 PM »
So I don't know if this is from himself prior to his passing or from his family, but in addition to refusing to have Trump at his funeral, his running mate in 2008 Gov. Palin has been told in no uncertain terms to stay away.

Petty self-serving BS, whether it was McCain himself or his family it speaks to his nature as a small and petty man.

Just when I thought I couldn't hold a lower opinion of him, they kick Palin to the curb - she's the only thing on that ticket I was voting FOR, the rest was AGAINST Obama - and this is how they treat her.

Pathetic, if only he would have left office and allowed the current Republican Governor Ducey to appoint someone who could build a record but instead he just held on.

Virtue signalling claims another scalp - sorry, was that cultural appropriation, I'll see myself out.

I thought holding children responsible for the crimes or insensitivities of their parents was wrong, or something.

They will protect and project and show only images and quotes that fit their desired outcome. As per usual.

I’ve just had an interesting exchange with a liberal friend who will not budge from the lib talking points, despite gentle proofs that her MSM-steeped brain is awash in falsehoods. “Becky, you are blind. Watch CNN, ABC, MSNBC, listen to NPR. We’re going to have to agree to disagree on politics.”

Okeydoke.

Negative. None of us were evicted from POA. The unmoderated SZ was shut down, and what was left of the site was moderated.
Spin it any way you want it.  Pilot Spin was created because POA ran off the Spin Zone.

Funny that POA itself was created because of overzealous moderation but they too succumbed to the disease of power.

She’s still going to beat her Republican rival.

So what?  So would Hitler.

Please tell me how the Russians changed anyone's mind to vote for Trump when the media was 95% or more promoting Hillary 24/7 and giving her debate questions prior to the debates.

Because if the left can definitively prove that ONE vote was changed by Russian interference, it will invalidate the entire process, the election will be declared null and void, all Trump's policies can be reversed and Hillary will be installed as president.

didn't you know that? lolz....  8)
