My fantasy is, during the SOTU, a hundred US Marshals storm the chamber and arrest the purveyors of the attempted coup of the POTUS.

Looks harmless right now, but just look at what they use to determine "your score".
I can't believe they haven't been sued for defamation.

"Democrat Stacey Abrams, who lost the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election to Republican Brian Kemp, said in an interview released Friday that she has a "plan" to be president of the United States by 2040."

If this doesn’t get her off the “moderate” soapbox and get her on the Trump train, I don’t know what will.

“F*** you, Senator Collins. On TV I saw you last night. Looks like President Trump and Paul LePage c** ***** were all over where they blew their **** ** *** face. I bet you **** each one of them republican senators, or you want to. You’re a half-pint little f***ing cross-eyed s****** with a voice impediment. You suck. You’re a traitor to your country. What you really are—my vile vitriol really just masks my contempt for you, and that you’re a traitor. You support people like Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. You’re a disgrace, a disgrace to this country. Not just in the Senate, but to you’re country. You’re a f***ing **** traitor. F*** you!”

Sincerely,
Adam Schiff

Democrats use to hate John Bolton.  Now he is their hero.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Sounds like McCain when he pooped on Trump.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

That’s why the GOP should call their bluff. Fine, you want witnesses, you got witnesses. Bernie and Warren can sit in DC for 6 months to a year as senators (can’t leave) while the courts handle the inevitable separation of powers arguments legitimately raised by Team Trump.

That's the fantasy, the GOP is ball-less and has been for a long time. At the very least Roberts should be forced to disqualify voting by any senator that was or is a political opponent of Trump in 2016 and 2020, as well as those who have gone public with "guilty as charged" before a trial.

Didn't we establish the convention of green text denoting sarcasm?

It's absolutely incredible that the president's "political rivals" have a vote (pre-determined to convict) and can actively participate for the prosecution in his trial
 (so-called.)

Kangaroo court, anyone?

Your guys butthurt over Biden is pretty funny, seeing how the current officeholder installed his own entirely unqualified children into the halls of power. But that was OK because, er, ummm, Trump!
Once again you show yourself to be a complete fool. The only child of President Trump who has an official capacity at the White House (Ivanka) is as an adviser to the president. It's not a "do nothing" job . She takes no salary. She was very accomplished in business before Mr Trump won the election.

Very interesting. I’ve always thought engineers were more likely to be conservative because they have to use natural, immoveable laws to build things that actually work, whilst IT usually involves mostly the manipulation of information in a limited number of ways.

Good analysis. Software "engineers" are definitely left leaning, vs those of us who deal with real objects.  With most software, the behavior can be changed to correct mistakes after release; with hardware, it has to be right when it leaves the factory, hence "conservative" design.
